Adventurers Club 2015 - February: True Love?

Love is in the air

This time I haven't left for the last moment the challenge of the "Adventurers Club". The theme for this month is "True Love?", so I have thought about making a mini-photo shoot of all our "Monster High" couples taking advantage that today is this silly Valentine's Day. Before anyone gets angry with me, the dolls DO NOT represent the official characters.

Esta vez no he dejado para el último momento el reto del "Adventurers Club". El tema de este mes es "True Love?" (¿Amor verdadero?), así que he pensado en hacer una mini-sesión de todas las parejitas "Monster High" que tenemos aprovechando que hoy es este día tan tonto San Valentín. Antes de echarme la bronca, los muñecos NO representan a los personajes oficiales.

¡Feliz Día de Muertos! 2014 + Adventurers Club - October: Night

Day of the Dead is a Mexican celebration that caught my attention when I knew about it a few years ago. I think it's very interesting that they celebrate something as terrible in a cheerful way. So I wanted to do a small tribute to this day with Lupita, a doll inspired by La Calavera Catrina or Calavera Garbancera.

I also participated by flickr in the monthly challenge Adventurers Club, which the theme for October was "Night". 

El Día de Muertos es una celebración mexicana que me llamó mucho la atención cuando la conocí hace unos años. Me pareció muy interesante que celebren algo tan funesto de una forma alegre. Así que he querido hacer un pequeño homenaje a este día con Lupita, una muñeca inspirada en La Catrina o Calavera Garbancera.

También participé por flickr con una foto de Lupita en el reto mensual Adventurers Club, cuyo tema de Octubre fue "Night" (noche). 

Skelita Calaveras Arrival - Llegada

As I said in my previous post about the arrival of Venus McFlytrap, on Monday my mother and I went to the nearby Juguettos (a toy shop) from home and we found something unexpected. A Skelita Calaveras, from the collection "Scaris - City of Frights" for 15€! My mother took the box and stood spellbound looking at the doll, so I told her to buy it if she liked the doll as much because I doubted she could find it again for that price. So she decided to take it because there were only two Skelitas left in the shop.

Here you have photos of Skelita, of rather, Lupita, as this is the name my mother has given to her doll.

Como ya comenté en mi anterior entrada sobre la llegada de Venus McFlytrap, el lunes mi madre y yo fuimos al Juguettos que hay cerca de casa y nos encontramos con algo que no esperábamos. ¡Una Skelita Calaveras de la colección "Scaris - City of Frighst" por 15€! Mi madre cogió la caja y se quedó embobada mirando la muñeca, así que le dije que se la llevase si tanto le gustaba la muñeca porque a ese precio, dudaba que volviese a encontrarla. Así que decidió llevársela porque solo quedaban dos Skelitas más en la tienda.

Aquí tenéis las fotos de Skelita, o mejor dicho, Lupita, ya que éste es el nombre que mi madre le ha puesto a su muñeca.
