Mini doll meet up at Barcelona · Mini quedada en Barcelona (06-12-2016)

On the 6th December it was a holiday and I took the opportunity to go out with a friend that I hadn't seen for a long time to spend the day together in Barcelona and to take some photos of our Dollzone Leo, as my friend has a girl. I finally also took Shirley.

At first we went to Palau Sant Jordi, but the day was so sunny that we could only take photos on one of the benches of the Plaza de Europa. Here we have Shirley, Leadan and Daisuke.

El día 6 de Diciembre fue festivo y aproveché para quedar con una amiga a la que hacía mucho tiempo que no veía para pasar el día por Barcelona y de paso, hacer algunas fotos a nuestros Dollzone Leo ya que mi amiga tiene una nena. Al final también me llevé a Shirley.

En un principio fuimos al Palau Sant Jordi, pero el día era tan soleado que solo pudimos hacer unas fotos en uno de los bancos de la Plaza de Europa. Aquí tenemos a Shirley, Leadan y Daisuke.

As you know from my previous post, on Sunday 22nd June I went to a doll meetup at Palau Sant Jordi that was organized via the Spanish forum BJDoll. Up to now you have seen photos I took of other dolls, so finally time to show you the photos I took of Toshi, the doll I took, either alone or accompanied by a new friend, Tôya, has arrived.

Tôya belongs to my friend Nadia (a.k.a. Sakura), it's a Chrom from Soom with human body. The mold is very beautiful and I like him because he's so big. Is it too obvious that I like SD boys? But Toshi is a sourpuss and they didn't get along, so between distancing between the boys and Nadia doesn't get along with SD size yet, she decided to keep it and I only took the photos you're about to see:

Como ya sabéis por mis anteriores entradas, el domingo 22 de Junio fui a una quedada en el Palau Sant Jordi que se organizó a través del foro BJDoll. Hasta ahora habéis visto las fotos que hice a varios muñecos que llevaron, así que por fin ha llegado el momento de enseñaros las fotos que le hice a Toshi, el muñeco que me llevé, tanto solo como acompañado por un nuevo amigo, Tôya.

Tôya pertenece a mi amiga Nadia (a.k.a. Sakura), es un Chrom de Soom con cuerpo humano. El molde es precioso y me encanta por lo grande que es. ¿Se me nota mucho que me gustan los chicos SD? Pero Toshi es un rancio y no hicieron buenas migas, así que entre el distanciamiento entre los chicos y que Nadia aún no se entiende muy bien con los SD, decidió guardarlo y solo le hice las fotos que vais a ver:

22-06-2014 - Doll meeting at Palau Sant Jordi (Part 1) · Quedada en Palau Sant Jordi (Part 1)

OMG, I don't know what the hell happened but I've had to re-write all the text and photos because they were from another post that I published days after and disapeared all the original text and photos. And lucky that I've noticed! That said, I re-write everything, althout it won't be like the original one because have no copy of the original text TT____TT

On Sunday 22nd June I went to a doll meetup at Palau Sant Jordi that was organized via the Spanish forum BJDoll. I went with my friend Nadia (a.k.a. Sakura) and Chandrama. This meetup was quite large, we were more than 20 people and my friend Mia-chan also attended.

As always, we took the typical group photos:

Hay dios, no sé qué diablos ha pasado, pero esta entrada la he tenido que volver a reescribir porque todo el texto y fotos que tenía anteriormente, pertenecían a otra entrada que publiqué días después desapareciendo todo el texto y fotos originales. ¡Y suerte que me he dado cuenta! Dicho esto, vuelvo a escribirlo todo, aunque ya no será igual que la original porque no tengo ninguna copia del texto original TT____TT

El domingo 22 de Junio fui a una quedada en el Palau Sant Jordi que se organizó a través del foro BJDoll. Fui con mis amigas Nadia (a.k.a. Sakura) y Chandrama. Esta quedada fue bastante grande, nos juntamos más de 20 personas y mi amiga Mia-chan también asistió.

Como siempre, se hicieron las típicas fotos de grupo: 

You have seen the hug amount of dolls that were taken to the meetup XD Although the dolls of my friends Nadia, Chandrama and Mia-chan are missing. The first two because they didn't put their dolls and Mia-chan because she left before these pics were taken. Also are missing dolls of other people who left earlier too or they were taking photos apart.

And as you see, I took the asocial of Toshi again, I have to add that he was about to not appear in the photos because I was taking photos with my friends somewhere else and when we approached the group, they already had all the dolls ready for the group pics. So when they saw me appearing with Toshi in my arms, they asked me to put my "Super Saiyan" in the group (I'm afraid he has already been given this nickname XD ).

Ya habéis visto la enorme cantidad de muñecos que se llevaron a la quedada XD Aunque faltan los muñecos de mis amigas Nadia, Chandrama y Mia-chan. Las dos primeras, porque no pusieron a sus muñecos y Mia-chan porque se fue antes de que se hiciesen estas fotos. También faltan los muñecos de otra gente que también se fue antes o estaban haciendo fotos aparte.

Y como veis, me volví a llevar al asocial de Toshi, que apunto estuvo de no aparecer en estas fotos porque estuve haciendo fotos con mis amigas en otra parte y cuando nos acercamos al grupo, ya tenían a todos los muñecos preparados para las fotos de grupo. Así que cuando me vieron aparecer con Toshi en brazos, me pidieron que pusiese a mi "Super Saiyan" en el grupo (me temo que ya se le ha quedado el apodo XD )

Although Mia-chan suggested me to take photos of Toshi with her doll (another SD boy), finally we couldn't take the pics because we dispersed and when I approached the group meetup, she already left TT___TT I think that she didn't see me because that place is enormous and depending on where you are, you are "hidden".

In my next two posts I'll upload photos I took of other dolls and in the last part I will show you the pics I took of Toshi alone and with Tôya, a new friend... although I'm afraid that they didn't get along. Toshi as nice as usual ¬_¬ I will also tell you my opinion about this meetup and explain a somehow of surreal experience we had.

By the way, I haven't been able to write this post earlier because we've been pretty busy around here and I recently had a niece. From now on I'll able to write as usual here ^^

A pesar de que Mia-chan me propuso hacer fotos de Toshi con su muñeco (otro SD chico), finalmente no pudimos hacer las fotos porque nos dispersamos y cuando me acerqué al grupo de la quedada, ella ya se había ido TT___TT Imagino que no me vio porque aquello es enorme y según donde estés, quedas "escondido".

En mis dos próximas entradas subiré fotos que hice a otros muñecos y en la última parte os mostraré las fotos que le hice a Toshi solo y con Tôya, un nuevo amigo... aunque me temo que no se llevaron muy bien. Toshi tan majo como siempre ¬_¬ También os contaré mi opinión sobre esta quedada

Toshi at Palau Sant Jordi -Barcelona- (26-05-2014)

In this post I showed photos of the doll meetup I went to on May 25th, although I didn't post photos from the shoot I did to Toshi. Well, the time to show them has come.

I didn't took photos of my beloved "demon" for months, so I had a great time with him. The week before the meet I prepared him, so I put hot-glue (now he poses much better) and dressed him for the occasion. I'm going to take photos of him very soon, in fact, I'm going to take him to the next meetup. I have to go there for some reason I will tell (no, I'm not waiting for new dolls).

En esta entrada os enseñé fotos de la quedada a la que fui el 25 de Mayo, aunque no puse fotos de la sesión que le hice a Toshi. Pues ya ha llegado el momento de enseñarlas. 

Hacía meses que no le hacía fotos a mi querido "demonio", así que me lo pasé en grande con él. La semana anterior a la quedada lo estuve preparando para llevármelo, así que le puse hot glue (se nota que ahora posa mejor) y lo vestí para la ocasión. Muy pronto volveré a hacerle fotos, de hecho, me lo llevaré a la próxima quedada a la que tengo que ir por cierto motivo que ya contaré (no, no estoy esperando muñecos nuevos).

Doll meetup at Palau Sant Jordi -Barcelona- (26-05-2014)

On Sunday 26th I went to a doll meetup. I went with my friends Nadia_Chaudhary (a.k.a. Sakura) and Chandrama. My friend Mia-chan was there too, last time I met her was two years ago and it was very nice to see her again ^^ Although we feared that it would rain, finally it didn't.

The place chosen was Palau Sant Jordi, a very quiet place with interesting places to take photos of dolls, so I took a lot of photos and therefore, I invite you to enjoy of this long post.

To begin, I show you the traditional group photos with the dolls we took to the meetup:

El domingo 26 fui a una quedada de BJDs. Fui con mis amigas Nadia_Chaudhary (a.k.a. Sakura) y Chandrama. También fue mi amiga Mia-chan, a la que hacía dos años que no veía y fue muy agradable volver a verle ^^ A pesar de que en un principio nos temíamos que lloviese, finalmente el tiempo se comportó.

El lugar escogido fue el Palau Sant Jordi, un sitio bastante tranquilo y con lugares interesantes donde hacer fotos a los muñecos, así que hice muchas fotos y por lo tanto, os invito a que disfrutéis de esta larga entrada.

Para empezar, os muestro las tradicionales fotos de grupo con los muñecos que llevamos a la quedada:

Yes, I took Toshi and he was the only one SD guy that it was in the meetup. He was surrounded by girls of all sizes. But he was in his own world, as usual. We know how asocial he is...

The only one MSD was belongs to my friend Nadia Chaudhary. He seems to be more sociable than Toshi XD Chandrama's doll doesn't appear in the photos because she had to leave early.

We laughed a lot with Toshi's hair. It turns out that when I put him on his place for the group photo, when I left him there to let another person to put their doll, his hair stood on spiky like if he were a Super Saiyan because of the air, but gave the impression that he was very angry XD The funny thing is that in the previous photos I took of him alone, his hair wasn't that way although it was quite windy. See if Toshi have something Saiyan and I didn't know... At least he refrained and didn't provoke an electric shock.

Previously I also took photos of my friends' dolls. They are only three and quite repetitive:

Sí, me llevé a Toshi y fue el único chico SD que había en la quedada. Se encontró rodeado de chicas de todos los tamaños. Pero él fue a su bola, como siempre y para variar. Ya sabemos lo asocial que es el pobre...

El único chico MSD que se ve en las fotos pertenece a mi amiga Nadia. Él parece ser más sociable que Toshi XD La muñeca de Chandrama no aparece en las fotos ya que tuvo que irse antes.

Nos reímos bastante con el pelo de Toshi. Resulta que cuando lo coloqué para la foto de grupo, tal y como me fui para que otra persona pudiese poner a su muñeca, se le pusieron los pelos completamente de punta a lo Super Saiyan por el aire que hacía, aunque dio la impresión de que tenía un cabreo considerable XD Lo gracioso es que en las fotos que hice anteriormente de él en solitario no se le pusieron los pelos de esa manera a pesar de hacer bastante viento. A ver si Toshi va a tener algo de Saiyan y no lo sabía... Al menos se contuvo y no provocó una descarga eléctrica.

When we left, someone realized that Iron Maiden were rehearsing at the Palau Sant Jordi. I could hear music coming from the enclosure for a while, but as I don't follow this band, I didn't know it was them. I must admit that the music sounded great (you know I like Metal). Apparently, they played in Barcelona at Palau Sant Jordi on May 27th, so we could say that we had the opportunity to hear live music of as a big band as this group is, and moreover, free. XD

En mi próxima entrada os enseñaré la sesión fotográfica que le hice a Toshi por esos parajes.

Cuando nos fuimos, alguien se dio cuenta de que Iron Maiden estaban ensayando en el Palau Sant Jordi. Yo oía música que salía del recinto desde hacía un buen rato, pero como no sigo a este grupo, no sabía que eran ellos. Eso sí, debo admitir que la música sonaba genial (ya sabéis que me gusta el Metal). Por lo que parece, actuaron en Barcelona en el Palau Sant Jordi el 27 de Mayo, así que se puede decir que tuvimos la oportunidad de escuchar música en directo de un grupo tan grande como este, y además, gratis XD
