Christmas holidays are over and we're almost in the middle of the month. Since I don't want more topics and posts to accumulate, I'm going to publish the most urgent ones as soon as possible and this is one of those posts.

While listening to the new album by VV (Ville Valo, ex-HIM singer), which has been released today, I'm going to show you the figures that joined my collection in 2022. Before I used to post a photo (or several photos) of my updated collection of Nendoroids, but since I already have so many big heads and almost all of them are stored in their boxes, it's a too tedious job and I thought it's more interesting to introduce the new members of my figure collection.

Ya pasaron las fiestas navideñas, estando ya a casi mediados de mes. Como no quiero que se me acumulen más temas y entradas, voy a ir publicando las más urgentes lo antes posible y esta es una de esas entradas. 

Mientras escucho el nuevo disco de VV (Ville Valo, ex-cantante de HIM), que ha salido hoy, os voy a mostrar las figuras que se unieron a mi colección en 2022. Antes solía publicar una foto (o varias fotos) de mi colección actualizada de Nendoroids, pero como ya tengo tantos cabezones y casi todos están guardados en sus cajas, es un trabajo demasiado tedioso y he pensado que es más interesante presentar a las nuevas integrantes de mi colección de figuras.

Today the blog turns 12 years old and it has gone through different stages since I started my journey through the blogosphere, so to celebrate I'm going to tell you how I started collecting and photographying toys, that is, dolls and figures. 

Before starting, the photos that you are going to see have different watermarks with the different names that I have been using until the current one, so don't pay attention to them. And after writing this entry for months, I can finally publish it, I hope you enjoy it and you don't find it boring. And With that said, I begin. 

I started collecting toys many years ago, although when I bought my first collector figure, Pisces Aphrodite, I didn't do it as a collector as I bought it because I liked it as it's a character that represents my zodiac sign (Pisces) and with no intentions of collecting more figures even though there were other Saint Seiya action figures that I would have loved to have. I remember I bought it at Toys'R Us in Sant Boi around 2006. At that time I had no idea that there were collectors who even photographed their figures.

Hoy el blog cumple 12 años y ha pasado por distintas etapas desde que inicié mi camino por la blogsfera, así que para celebrarlo os voy a contar cómo empecé en el coleccionismo y fotografía de juguetes, esto es, muñecas y figuras.

Antes de empezar, las fotos que vais a ver tienen distintas marcas de agua con los distintos nombres que he ido usando hasta el actual, así que no les hagáis caso. Y después de estar escribiendo esta entrada durante meses, por fin la puedo publicar. Espero que la disfrutéis y no os parezca aburrida. Dicho esto, empiezo.

Hace muchos años que empecé a coleccionar juguetes, aunque cuando compré mi primera figura de coleccionista, Afrodita de Piscis, no lo hice como coleccionista ya que la compré porque me gustó al ser un personaje que representa mi signo zodiacal (Piscis) y sin intenciones de  coleccionar más figuras a pesar de que habían otras figuras de acción de Saint Seiya (Caballeros del Zodiaco) que me hubiese encantado tener. Recuerdo que la compré en el Toys'R Us de Sant Boi sobre el año 2006. En aquella época no tenía ni idea de que habían coleccionistas que incluso fotografiaban a sus figuras.

In my previous post I told you that I went to the presentation of the prototype of the Nendoroid of Arale Norimaki. The event took place on the 20th and 21st 2018 at the Norma Comics store in Barcelona. I went on the 21st.

In the store they enabled a corner for the presentation, where the prototype of the figure was displayed and a screen where different photos of Arale were show.

En mi anterior entrada os conté que fui a la presentación del prototipo de la Nendoroid de Arale Norimaki. El evento tuvo lugar los días 20 y 21 de abril de 2018 en la tienda Norma Comics, en Barcelona. Yo fui el día 21.

En la tienda habilitaron una esquina para la presentación, donde estaba el prototipo de la figura y una pantalla donde iban apareciendo distintas fotos de Arale.

This is another entry that should have been published months ago and because of laziness to edit photos hasn't been published until today.

On the 21st April, 2018, I went with a friend to the presentation of the Nendoroid prototype of Arale Norimaki (Dr. Slump). The place where it took place was in a well-known comic shop in Barcelona, Norma Comics, where apart from all kinds of comics, you can also find other types of merchandise such as T-shirts, figures, backpacks or even wands from the Harry Potter films.

Upon arriving, I was struck by a figure of the shop window, a Hot Toys of Marty McFly and  the DeLorean from the films "Back to the Future".

Esta es otra entrada que debería haber publicado hace meses y por pereza de editar fotos no ha visto la luz hasta hoy.

El 21 de abril de 2018 fui con una amiga a la presentación del prototipo de la nendoroid de Arale Norimaki (Dr. Slump). El lugar donde tuvo lugar fue en una conocida tienda de cómics de Barcelona, Norma Comics, donde aparte de todo tipo de cómics, también se pueden encontrar otro tipo de merchandising como camisetas, figuras, mochilas o incluso varitas de las películas de Harry Potter.

Al llegar, me llamó la atención una figura del escaparte, una Hot Toys de Marty McFly y el DeLorean de las películas "Regreso al Futuro".

I have several figures and news to tell and show, which I haven't done for the laziness of editing photos, ahem. So I thought about publishing in this post photos of all these figures that have arrived since the last figure review I published.

Let's start with BJD. In reality they're not resin BJDs as they're more like figures because of the material they are made of and because they have to be assembled by you. I'm talking about the new dragons of AileenDoll, the Plapico ♡

Tengo varias figuras y novedades por presentar, cosa que no he hecho por la pereza de editar fotos, ejem. Así que he pensado en publicar en esta entrada fotos de todas estas figuras que han llegado desde la última reseña figuril que hice.

Empecemos con las BJD. En realidad no son BJDs de resina ya que se parecen más a las figuras por el material del que están hechos y porque los tienen que montar tú. Estoy hablando de los nuevos dragones de AileenDoll, los Plapico ♡

Wonder Festival 2017 Winter

Last 19th February the WonFest was held in Japan, a festival that revealed the latest news in the world of Japanese figures.

Most of the figures that they shown were of characters that I don't know or I'm not interest in and for a change, many feminine figures lightly dressed with erotic poses. Even so, what was my surprise when I saw so many news that I didn't expect and surely you will be as surprised as me:

El pasado 19 de Febrero se celebró en Japón el WonFest, festival en el que se revelaron las novedades en el mundo de las figuras japonesas.

La mayoría de figuras que presentaron son de personajes que no conozco o no me interesan y para variar, bastantes figuras femeninas ligeritas de ropa con poses subiditas de tono. Aún así, cuál ha sido mi sorpresa cuando he visto que han salido muchas novedades que no esperaba y seguro que os vais a sorprender tanto como yo:

Christmas gifts 2016 · Regalos de Navidad 2016

I hope you all are having a happy holidays, no matter if you celebrate them or not. You know that I'm not a believer and therefore, I don't celebrate them because I find it a little absurd to celebrate something religious in what I don't believe, the only thing I like about Christmas are lighting and decorations, maybe for that reason Santa hasn't been very generous, although it doesn't matter because I loved everything 😊

Espero que tod@s estéis pasando unas buenas fiestas sin importar si las celebráis o no. Ya sabéis que yo no soy creyente y por lo tanto, no las celebro porque me parece un tanto absurdo celebrar algo religioso en lo que no creo, lo único que me gusta de la Navidad son las luces y las decoraciones y quizá por eso Papá Noel no ha sido muy generoso este año, aunque no importa porque todo me ha hecho ilusión 😊
