We're in September already! Although summer's days are numbered, the suffocating heat is still there 🥵 Let's see if temperatures drop in the next few days, I already want to cover myself with the sheet or a blanket to sleep. In August I finally took some photos, not all the ones I wanted to take but better than nothing.

Without further ado, I show you the photos I took last month.

¡Ya estamos en septiembre! Aunque el verano ya tiene los días contados, el calor sofocante sigue ahí 🥵 A ver si en los próximos días van bajando las temperaturas, ya tengo ganas taparme con la sábana o una mantita para dormir. En agosto al final hice algunas fotos, no todas las que quería hacer pero mejor eso que nada. 

Sin más, os enseño las fotos que hice el mes pasado.

For this entry I have organized myself better to be able to publish it at the beginning of the month. I took many photos in March since there were many subjects to photograph, so I have been preparing the entry in advance so as not to leave it for the last moment.

Before showing the March photos, I will show you a video that I forgot to include in my previous post. It's a "behind the scene" photo of Newt Scamander.

Para esta entrada me he organizado mejor para poder publicarla a principios de mes. Hice muchas fotos en marzo ya que habían muchos temas para fotografiar así que he ido preparando la entrada con antelación para no dejarla para el último momento.   

Antes de mostrar las fotos de marzo, os mostraré un vídeo que se me olvidó incluir en mi anterior entrada. Es un "detrás de la cámara" de la foto de Newt Scamander.

Hello! Since I don't want to lose rhythm, I'm going to post more photos. As you know, I first publish them on my Instagram and since I haven't blogged for a long time, I'm a few months late. The important thing is that little by little I'm updating the blog.

Today I show you the photos I took from March to May. I remind you that as my computer was broken, I couldn't use Photoshop and instead I took photos with my phone that I edited in Lightroom Mobile and/or Snapseed.

¡Hola! Como no quiero perder el ritmo voy a publicar más fotos. Como ya sabéis, primero las publico en mi Instagram y como he estado bastante tiempo sin publicar en el blog, llevo unos meses de retraso. Lo importante es que poco a poco estoy actualizando el blog. 

Hoy os enseño las fotos que hice entre marzo y mayo. Os recuerdo que como tenía el ordenador estropeado, no podía utilizar Photoshop y en su lugar hice fotos con mi teléfono que edité en Lightroom Mobile y/o Snapseed.

After several months of hiatus, I can finally write on the blog more often. At this time, in July I got the vaccine against Covid 19. I have gotten both doses and I encourage you to also get vaccinated. I had hardly any side effects, with the first dose I had a sore arm in the area of the shot and with the second the pain was milder, although I did have a little fatigue that lasted 24 hours.

A few weeks ago I told you about the problem I had with my laptop, which is still damaged and which I have been using on a few occasions. I finally opted to buy a refurbished laptop, as I don't know how much the repair will cost and how long the old computer will last and adding a little bit money I could get a practicaly new computer. After searching for a few weeks, I finally found a good deal on July 20. I already have the most essential programs installed, including Photoshop CS5 for editing photos.

What will I do with the old laptop? I will keep it and when I'll be able, I'll ask if it can be repaired and depending on what they tell me, I will pay for the repair or not. I would like it to be fixed, it's always a good thing to have a couple of computers in case one fails or one of them needs to be cleaned inside.

During these months I have taken photos with my phone (especially from March) and have edited them with apps, Lightroom Mobile and Snapseed. Honestly, I prefer to do the edits with a computer, it's much more comfortable, although I have to admit that these two apps are good if you want to edit the photos you take with your phone.

Now I am going to the topic you are waiting for, new photos. I have a lot of unpublished photos on the blog, so I will continue with the  "Random Photos" section until it's fully updated.

Después de varios meses de parón, por fin puedo volver a escribir en el blog con más frecuencia. En este tiempo, en julio me vacuné contra la Covid 19. Tengo las dos dosis puestas y os animo a que también os vacunéis. No tuve apenas efectos secundarios, con la primera dosis tuve un poco de dolor en la zona del pinchazo y con la segunda el dolor fue más leve, aunque sí tuve un poco de fatiga que duró 24h.

Hace unas semanas os conté el problema que he tenido con mi ordenador portátil, que sigue estropeado y que he estado utilizando en escasas ocasiones. Finalmente opté por comprar un portátil reacondicionado, ya que no sé cuánto me va a costar la reparación y cuánto tiempo va a durar el ordenador viejo y por poco más podía obtener un ordenador seminuevo. Después de buscar durante unas semanas, finalmente encontré una buena oferta el 20 de julio. Ya tengo instalados los programas más esenciales, incluido Photoshop CS5 para editar fotografías.

¿Qué haré con el portátil viejo? Lo voy a guardar y cuando pueda, iré a preguntar si se puede reparar y dependiendo de lo que me digan, pagaré la reparación o no. Me gustaría que tuviese arreglo, no viene mal tener un par de ordenadores por si uno falla o tienes que llevarlo a que lo limpien por dentro.

Durante estos meses (sobre todo a partir de marzo) he hecho fotos con mi teléfono y las he editado con apps, Lightroom Mobile y Snapseed. Sinceramente, prefiero hacer las ediciones con un ordenador, es muchísimo más cómodo, aunque he de admitir que estas dos apps son buenas si quieres editar las fotos que haces con tu teléfono.

Ahora sí que voy al tema que estáis esperando, fotos nuevas. Tengo muchas fotos sin publicar en el blog, así que seguiré con la sección "Fotos varias" hasta que esté completamente actualizado.

My Nendoroid collection 2020 · Mi colección de Nendoroid 2020

Hello everyone!

Have you ever wondered how many nendoroids I have in my collection? If so, today you are going to know how many I have until today. For a couple of years, at the end of December, I take one or more photos of my collection and post them on my Instagram account, but I have never published these photos on the blog. I thought I could post them here too.

At first I started with a single photo but the collection grew and it was already impossible to photograph all the nendos together, so this year I have divided them into four photos:

¿Alguna vez os habéis preguntado cuántos nendoroids tengo en mi colección? Si es así, hoy vais a saber cuántos tengo hasta el día de hoy.  Desde hace un par de años que a finales de diciembre hago una o varias fotos de mi colección completa y las publico en mi cuenta de Instagram, pero nunca he publicado estas fotos en el blog. He pensado que podría publicarlas también aquí.

Al principio empecé que con una foto pero la colección creció y ya fue imposible fotografiar a todos los nendos juntos, así que este año los he repartido entre cuatro fotos:

Forgive my absence these weeks, my laptop screen was damaged and it was difficult to write and edit photos in those conditions. It's already fixed and I hope it doesn't break again. The truth is that my current laptop has turned out good, it's already 8 years old and it's the only problem it has given me in all this time. My previous one was damaged after 5 years.

That said, I have decided to continue with the delayed photos that I have not yet published on the blog since I have to edit the photos of the next review, which I haven't been able to do. The photos that I am going to publish today correspond to the months of May and June.

Perdonad mi falta de ausencia estas semanas, he tenido la pantalla del ordenador portátil estropeada y era difícil escribir y editar fotos en esas condiciones. Ya está reparado y espero que no se vuelva a estropear. La verdad es que ha salido bueno mi actual portátil, ya tiene 8 años y es el único problema que me ha dado en todo este tiempo. El anterior se rompió a los 5 años.

Dicho esto, he decidido seguir con las fotos atrasadas que aún no he publicado en el blog ya que tengo que editar las fotos de la siguiente reseña, que no he podido hacer. Las fotos que voy a publicar hoy corresponden a los meses de mayo y junio.

How are you spending summer in the northern hemisphere? As for me I'm taking it very lazily and without wanting to do anything. I don't even feel like going out despite having spent almost three months in lockdown. You already know that I don't like summer and wanting the temperature to low (a lot) to get my energy to the full again. So today I told myself that I have to post on the blog so as not to have it neglected and here I am.

The photos that I'm going to publish today correspond to the months of March and April. There is little left to reach the current date.

¿Cómo estáis pasando el verano en el hemisferio norte? Por mi parte lo estoy llevando con mucha pereza y sin ganas de hacer nada. Ni tan siquiera me apetece salir de casa a pesar de haber pasado casi tres meses de confinamiento. Ya sabéis que no me gusta el verano y con ganas de que baje (mucho) la temperatura para volver a tener mi energía a tope. Así que hoy me he dicho que tengo que publicar en el blog para no tenerlo abandonado y aquí estoy.

Las fotos que voy a publicar hoy corresponden a los meses de marzo y abril. Ya queda poco para llegar a la fecha actual.

I haven't published a post like this since December of last year, so I have many photos to publish that you will be seeing in different entries. If you follow me on Instagram, I'm sure you've seen many of them.

In part 5 I stayed in the month of July 2018, so we will go to August, the month that will star in this post because I took quite photos.

No hacía una publicación como esta desde diciembre del año pasado, así que tengo muchísimas fotos por publicar que iréis viendo en distintas entradas. Si me seguís en Instagram, seguro que ya habéis visto muchas de ellas.

En la parte 5 me quedé en el mes de julio de 2018, así que pasaremos a agosto, mes que protagonizará esta entrada porque hice bastantes fotos.

Today I come with another batch of random photos, which for a change, I publish quite late. As always, if you follow me on Instagram, I'm sure you've seen them.

In the fourth round I forgot to include a photo that I thought I had already published of the Iron Man nendoroid, in this case Tony Stark.

Hoy vengo con otra tanda de fotos variadas, que para variar, publico con bastante retraso. Como siempre, si me seguís en Instagram, seguro que ya las habéis visto.

En la cuarta tanda se me olvidó incluir una foto que pensé que ya había publicado del nendoroid de Iron Man, en este caso de Tony Stark.

In May I did a photo shoot of the nendoroid Link "Breath of the Wild" with his horse. I love this figure and I had the idea of taking these photos for a while until I finally found the moment to take them.

En mayo hice una sesión fotográfica del nendoroid Link "Breath of the Wild" con su caballo. Me encanta esta figura y llevaba tiempo con la idea de hacer estas fotos hasta que finalmente encontré el momento para hacerlas.

On the 8th March was the International Women's Day, so as a good feminist I took a photo of my nendoroid girls.

El 8 de marzo fue el Día internacional de la mujer, así que como buena feminista hice una foto de mis chicas nendoroid.

In October 2017 I made a photo shoot of my Link figma in nature. It was the first time I took one of my figures outside and I have to say that it's quite complicated to photograph figures outdoor.

Below I show you the shoot I made of Link.

En Octubre de 2017 hice una sesión de mi figma de Link en la naturaleza. Fue la primera vez que saqué a una de mis figuras fuera de casa y tengo que decir que es bastante complicado fotografiar figuras al aire libre.

A continuación os muestro la sesión que hice de Link.

Tió de Nadal - Bon Nadal!

In Catalonia we have for Christmas a beloved character by children (and adults), the Tió de Nadal (Christmas Tió or Christmas log) or as it's popularly known, "caga Tió" (shit Tió). The Tió is a log that it's drawn a face with eyes, nose, and a bright smile, put two legs and covered with a blanket so it doesn't get cold. During the month of December it's fed so that on Christmas Eve he can shit candies and other small gifts to the rhythm of a popular song while being hit with wooden sticks or small branches.

Link and Lum have been struck by this Catalan tradition and although it's focused on children, they also wanted to make the Tió shit while they sang the song.

En Catalunya tenemos en Navidad a un personaje muy querido por los niños (y adultos), el Tió de Nadal (Tió de Navidad o Tronco de Navidad) o como popularmente se le conoce, "caga Tió". El Tió es un tronco al que se le dibuja una cara con ojos, nariz, y una amplia sonrisa, se le ponen dos patitas y se le tapa con una mantita para que no pase frío. Durante el mes de diciembre se le da de comer para que  en Nochebuena pueda cagar chucherías y otros pequeños regalos al ritmo de una canción popular mientras se le golpea con varas de madera o pequeñas ramas.

A Link y a Lum les ha llamado la atención esta tradición catalana y aunque esté enfocado hacia los niños, ellos también han querido hacer cagar al Tió mientran cantaban la canción.
