How are you spending summer in the northern hemisphere? As for me I'm taking it very lazily and without wanting to do anything. I don't even feel like going out despite having spent almost three months in lockdown. You already know that I don't like summer and wanting the temperature to low (a lot) to get my energy to the full again. So today I told myself that I have to post on the blog so as not to have it neglected and here I am.

The photos that I'm going to publish today correspond to the months of March and April. There is little left to reach the current date.

¿Cómo estáis pasando el verano en el hemisferio norte? Por mi parte lo estoy llevando con mucha pereza y sin ganas de hacer nada. Ni tan siquiera me apetece salir de casa a pesar de haber pasado casi tres meses de confinamiento. Ya sabéis que no me gusta el verano y con ganas de que baje (mucho) la temperatura para volver a tener mi energía a tope. Así que hoy me he dicho que tengo que publicar en el blog para no tenerlo abandonado y aquí estoy.

Las fotos que voy a publicar hoy corresponden a los meses de marzo y abril. Ya queda poco para llegar a la fecha actual.

Halloween 2015

We're at that time of year that I love, Halloween! Although this year nearly I don't take photos for lack of motivation. It turns out last October 6th my paternal grandfather died and we are now in mourning. We visited him every week and in recent months he was ill, so now miss that weekly visit. Still, life goes on for those who are here and finally I found motivation for the Halloween shots this year. I was inspired by old photographs in black and white, I think they have a special magic that colour photographs lack. Also I have aged them with Photoshop, you'll see that I used two ways to do it.

Then I show you the pictures I've taken of our BJDs.

Ya estamos en esa época del año que tanto me gusta, ¡Halloween! Aunque este año por poco no hago fotografías por falta de motivación. Resulta que el pasado 6 de Octubre falleció mi abuelo paterno y ahora estamos con el duelo. Iba a visitarle todas las semanas y en los últimos meses había dado un bajón bastante importante, así que ahora se echa en falta el no ir a hacerle la visita semanal. Aún así, la vida sigue para los que estamos aquí y finalmente encontré motivación para la sesión de Halloween de este año. Me he inspirado en las fotografías antiguas en blanco y negro, que pienso que tienen una magia especial que las fotografías en color carecen. También las he envejecido con Photoshop, veréis que utilicé dos formas de hacerlo.

Monster Haunt

Today I end with the arrival presentations of Monster High dolls. Finally! This time I have to show you a doll that cost me long to find... and to think that I could have had him from the last month... I tell you. When I purchased Catty Noir at Toys'R Us in Sant Boi, I saw they had Slo Mo, the zombie. I liked this doll in person, but due to the economic issue I couldn't buy it that day and to my great regret I had to miss the opportunity to purchase it since I haven't gone back to this store. Later, in early September the promotion with 25% off in Monster High products and dolls was done in El Corte Inglés, so I had to ask my friend Nadia (a.k.a. Sakura) if she could do the favor to purchase it for me because she lives very close to a El Corte Inglés mall and I couldn't go to the city just for this. Unfortunately, when she was able to go the doll was out, so I kept looking online until I finally came across deMartina.es online toy shop and found this. It's not too overpriced! Though I ordered in a moment that shipping was free from 10€, it was as if the doll was screaming at me: "buy me!" I ordered three outfits for our dolls because their price was nice and this way to take advantage of free shipping.

Shipping was very fast since I ordered on the 14th and the doll and clothes arrived on the 16th, just a day before the estimated date.

Hoy termino con las llegadas de muñecos Monster High. ¡Por fin! En esta ocasión os tengo que presentar a un muñeco que me costó mucho tiempo encontrar... y pensar que lo podría tener desde el mes pasado... Os cuento. Cuando compré a Catty Noir en el Toys'R Us de Sant Boi, vi que tenían a Slo Mo, el zombie. Me gustó mucho este muñeco en persona, pero por el tema económico no pude comprarlo ese día y muy a pesar mío tuve que dejar escapar la oportunidad de comprarlo ya que no he vuelto a ir a esta tienda. Después, a principios de septiembre se hizo la promoción en El Corte Inglés con el 25% de descuento en productos y muñecas Monster High, así que tuve que pedirle a mi amiga Nadia (a.k.a. Sakura) si podía hacerme el favor de comprarlo ya que vive muy cerca de un centro de El Corte Inglés y yo no podía desplazarme a la ciudad solo para esto. Desafortunadamente, cuando pudo ir ya estaba el muñeco agotado, así que continué buscando por Internet hasta que finalmente me topé con la tienda online deMartina.es y encontré esto. ¡Si alguien lo está buscando, que aproveche porque aún tienen unidades y no tiene el precio tan inflado! Aunque yo lo pillé en un momento en el que el envío era gratis a partir de 10€, fue como si el muñeco me estuviese gritando: "¡cómprame!" Ya que estaba y por aprovechar el envío gratuito, también pedí tres trajes para nuestras muñecas, ya que vi que estaban bien de precio.

El envío fue rapidísimo ya que hice el pedido el día 14 y el muñeco y la ropa llegaron el 16, justo un día antes de la fecha estimada.
