This meme was opened in the Spanish forum "Café Articulado" and I found it interesting. Here are my curiosities:

At Café Articulado, one of the forums about BJDs that I frequent, there is a quite interesting topic in which is asked what are the things that stimulate you and what depress you in the hobby, but here I'm going to change it and put it as "what I like" and "what I dislike" because as someone said in the thread, this is a hobby and therefore is to enjoy it. I found it very interesting and I want to share it with you in my blog, although it has been interesting to know what other users think and how they live the hobby and that makes know a little bit about those known of the forum.

Thanks to topics like this one, makes you see things clearer about how we live the hobby and in my case, I have to say that are things I've thought about many times and made me see that I've changed a lo since the time when I started in this hobby until today.

In this post I'm going to add some things I didn't write in the forum for not writing a novel XD So enjoy reading to know me a little better. Maybe surprises you some of my opinions ^_^

New Year, Adventurers Club and Resolutions · Año nuevo, Adventurers Club y Propósitos 2015

We are already in 2015, I will always say that time flies without realizing. I want thanks all those people who visit my blog, no matter if it's only to read the posts I write or see my photos and the new followers who have decided to follow me this year. A big hug for everyone.

The "Adventurers Club" game finished in December, the last topic was "Festivities". Yesterday I took a couple photos of the group Monster Haunt to congratulate the new year and I participated in the group of the AC on flickr with one of those photos.

In my previous post I talked about the resolutions for 2014 and which were completed and which not. So now I'll talk about the purposes for 2015, but like last year, I'll do what I please and won't complete all because I don't like lists, if I do it here is just to have some fun XD

Ya estamos en 2015, siempre diré que el tiempo vuela sin darnos cuenta. Quiero daros las gracias a todas esas personas que visitan mi blog aunque solo sea para leer las entradas que escribo o ver mis fotografías y a l@s nuevos seguidores/as que han decidido seguirme durante este año. Un abrazo enorme para tod@s.

En Diciembre terminó el juego "Adventurers Club", cuyo tema final fue "Festivities". Ayer hice un par de fotos a los miembros del grupo Monster Haunt para felicitar el nuevo año y con una de esas fotos participé en el grupo del AC en flickr.

En mi anterior entrada hablé sobre los propósitos de 2014 y cuáles se cumplieron y cuáles no. Así que ahora os hablaré de los propósitos que me voy a poner para el 2015, aunque como el pasado año, haré lo que me de la gana y no lo cumpliré todo porque no soy de hacer listas, por aquí lo hago por entretenimiento XD

Resolutions 2014 review · Repaso propósitos 2014

Earlier this year I wrote a post with the resolutions for this year is about to end. It's not something I do regularly, but I thought it could be fun to do this in the blog, so let's analyze the resolutions I made for this year in the subjects BJD and blog and how many have been completed:

As I have a certain experience in the BJD world and I know what going to doll meetups is and I have talked to other people into this hobby, I'm telling you some of the strangest experiences that I've had so far.

I'm back with another of my reviews that I enjoy writing. As always, I clarify that's just my personal opinion and no offence intended. That said, to the point.

Much has been said about recasted dolls, both in forums and social networks, and so far I haven't clearly expressed my personal opinion about it, except for a small review in the forum "Café Articulado" that I'll write about in other moment. So, what's my position? As a picture is worth a thousand words:

This poster has been made by the partner of the Creature Dolls doll artist for the LDoll 2013 and circulated onc facebook to make people aware about how unfair recast is, though I found the image on tumblr., which is circulating enough. The message perfectly expresses my point of view towards recast.

I like this stuff of writing my personal opinions and experiences in the hobby, so today I want to write about other subject: Does the hobby end when you don't have a wishlist or decide not to buy more dolls? 

In my case, the hobby doesn't end, is just when it begins. For a better understanding, I'm going to explain how I've been living the hobby so far, so sit down, relax and enjoy of this long post.

Homme Ducan - Dream of Doll
The "guilty" who got me into BJD's.

I knew about this hobby through a friend late 2007. She came to Barcelona for a concert and she showed me photos of a doll she was in love with and I also felt in love at sight. The handsome guy was Ducan - Dream of Doll in its versions: Homme Ducan, Elf Ducan y Black Elf Ducan. That's when we started talking about if we would ever buy a Homme Ducan, although I wasn't sure if it worthed to spend so much money on a doll xD But after a while I finally got Internet at home and was when I became more interested in the hobby and I chatted with this friend (and still chat) quite often on Messenger, and of course, we dreamed with our desired doll. And that's how my mother also got into this world because of me. She has always loved dolls, so knowing that, I began to show her photos of BJDs, how people custom their dolls... and how expensive they are. Still, we weren't sure whether to buy at least one doll each one and try, because we liked them a lot, until finally we had to assume that we wanted to have a BJD. Thus began the dilemma: How to custom them? I liked boys BJD, my mother liked girl BJD, so problem solved, my mother would get a girl and I would get a boy.

My quirks in the hobby

Today I want to write about my quirks in the hobby, they are several.

Before I begin, I'd like to make it clear that are my personal quirks and opinions that have nothing to do with specific dolls or people, so it's not my intention to offend or make anyone feel bad. That said, I begin:

Events and their poisoned gifts

This time I want to talk about events that provide the various companies for dates such as summer or Christmas. At the beginning of entering the hobby events caught my attention by ignorance, poor me, I thought that in those events companies offered a generous discount or gave away clothes and accessories when making certain expense on your purchase. I have used only three Christmas events, two of them in Dollzone Spain in which certain molds they had in stock their price was reduced and so they came home the Leo (Daisuke) and the baby type C (Mabushiko) one year and  then the Fox (Dean and Sam) two years later. The third event I took advantage of, was one of Angell Studio in which if you reached a certain amount of money, you got clothes to choose from a list they had and that's how Byron arrived with a couple of suits and Danielle got that so beautiful gothic dress she wears for Halloween. Outfits that I have to say that are as expensive that I wouldn’t have bought for this reason. Another type of events don’t interest me and now I'll explain why.
