New Blogger interface · Nueva interfaz de Blogger

Well, it has came the day when the new Blogger interface has been implemented. I have to say that in general I'm like a chameleon and I tend to get used to the changes quite easily, but I cannot with this new interface because it's a real pain to write in two columns and the spaces between photos and text are larger than before. Now I waste more time than before to write and prepare the posts because I have to check the HTML format so that the columns and images are seen correctly. I show you an image so you can see what happens every time I write paragraphs in two columns.

Pues ya ha llegado el día en el que se ha implementado la nueva interfaz de Blogger. He de decir que en general soy como un camaleón y suelo acostumbrarme bastante fácilmente a los cambios, pero no puedo con esta nueva interfaz porque es un auténtico fastidio para escribir en dos columnas y los espacios entre fotos y texto es más grande que antes. Ahora pierdo más tiempo que antes para escribir y preparar las entradas porque tengo que revisar el formato HTML para que las columnas e imágenes se vean correctamente. Os muestro una imagen para que veáis qué ocurre cada vez que escribo párrafos en dos columnas.

Today I have to communicate sad news, on Saturday 6th, Simba, my doggie, closed his eyes for the last time.

In this post I will write everything that happened from that day until he returned home in an urn. I need to write to find tranquility, so you aren't required to read this entry if you don't want to. 

Hoy tengo que comunicar una triste noticia y es el pasado sábado día 6, Simba, mi perrito, cerró los ojos por última vez.

As the title of this entry says, I officially leave flickr. I haven't uploaded new photos on this page for a while due to lack of activity in it, although this is not the main reason why I decided to leave it. The real reason is the following:

Pray for Barcelona

I didn't want to have to post an entry like this, but I feel myself obligated to do so. As many of you already know, yesterday 17th August there was a terrorist attack on Las Ramblas in Barcelona. The reason I write these lines is because I know that I have readers who know that I go often to Barcelona and I want to warn that I am well. Fortunately none of my family and friends have been affected.

Since I didn't have to go to work, I was thinking of going yesterday afternoon for a walk in Barcelona, but finally I decided to go for a walk in the town where I live. I know that I have been very fortunate not to have seen myself in such a terrible situation since I could have witnessed the multiple outrage because at the time it happened, I would have been in the affected area if I would finally decided to go to the city.

No quería tener que publicar una entrada como esta, pero me veo en la obligación de hacerlo. Como muchos ya sabréis, ayer 17 de Agosto hubo un atentado terrorista en Las Ramblas de Barcelona. El motivo por el que escribo estas líneas es porque sé que tengo lectores que saben que voy a menudo a Barcelona y quiero avisar de que me encuentro bien. Afortunadamente ninguno de mis familiares y amigos se han visto afectados.

Como no tenía que ir a trabajar, estuve pensando en ir ayer por la tarde a pasear por Barcelona, pero finalmente decidí salir a pasear en la ciudad donde vivo. Sé que he tenido mucha suerte de no haberme visto en una situación tan terrible ya que podría haber presenciado el atropello múltiple porque a la hora a la que sucedió, habría estado en la zona afectada si finalmente hubiese decidido ir a la ciudad.

From here I want to show my full respect for the victims of the attack and give the message that we have to be strong and should not be afraid. Together we can go ahead and this will not stop me from going on a walk around Barcelona and enjoy my hometown everytime I want.

Desde aquí quiero mostrar todo mis respetos hacia las víctimas del atentado y dar el mensaje de que hay que ser fuertes y no hay que tener miedo. Juntos podemos seguir adelante y esto no me va a impedir que siga yendo a pasear por Barcelona y disfrutar de mi ciudad natal cuando quiera.

Lily Skadi on Instagram

After much thought about if registering on Instagram or not, I finally decided to try the app. I was quite reluctant to open an account in this application because I only use my phone for phone calls (which are very few a year) and to communicate with my friends in whatsapp. But finally I made my mind up and have been using Instagram for a little over a month. It's not my favorite photo-sharing site, but it's the only place where you see more movement within the BJD and figures communities since flickr is quite dead and blogs seem to be of little interest to anyone. And the good thing is that photos can't be downloaded and copyright is yours.

Después de mucho pensar si abrir o no una cuenta en Instagram, finalmente decidí probar la aplicación. Era bastante reacia a abrir una cuenta en esta aplicación porque el teléfono móvil solo lo utilizo para llamadas telefónicas (que son muy pocas al año) y poder comunicarme con mis amigos en whatsapp. Pero finalmente me animé y llevo usando Instagram desde hace poco más de un mes. No es mi sitio favorito para compartir fotos, pero es el único sitio donde se ve más movimiento dentro de la comunidad BJD y de figuras ya que flickr está bastante muerto y los blogs no parecen interesar a casi nadie. Y lo bueno que tiene es que no se pueden descargar las fotos y los derechos de autor son tuyos.

Today makes five years since I started my journey through the blogger world. Actually the blog was born a few days earlier, that I spent them writing some posts and creating pages that today are still active, but it was a 10th September when I opened the blog publicly. This blog you are reading it was opened as a diary to have my adventures into the hobby of BJDs in an orderly way and that way, my friends could enjoy it. Five years later, here you have me willing to keep writing on the blog even though in the recent months I have little time to spend here.

Hoy hace cinco años que empecé mi andadura por el mundo blogueril. En realidad el blog lo empecé unos días antes, que los pasé escribiendo algunas entradas y creando páginas que a día de hoy aún están activas, pero fue un 10 de septiembre cuando lo abrí públicamente. Éste blog que estáis leyendo lo abrí a modo de diario para tener mis aventuras dentro del hobby de las BJD de una forma ordenada y de paso, que lo pudiesen disfrutar mis amigos. Cinco años después, aquí me tenéis con ganas de seguir con el blog a pesar de que en los últimos meses no tengo mucho tiempo para dedicarle.

"Valkyrie Memories": New blog! · ¡Blog nuevo!

Don't panic, I'm not going to leave or close this blog. The issue is that for a while I have been thinking about opening a new blog where to write about those subjects that have nothing to do with dolls.

When I opened this blog, my main idea was to show my dolls and tell my experiences with them, but gradually I have been posting entries that had little or nothing to do with the main theme of the blog, dolls, and I don't want to lose control, so I thought about opening a new blog where to post about those topics that here are meaningless. It won't suppose more time to keep it because it makes no difference writing posts in a blog or another, is simply a matter of organization and thus prevent readers of this blog be forced to see topics that aren't of their interest.

In the new blog I have imported entries that you have seen and read here, but I'm not going to delete those entries from this blog because they are part of its history.

That said, I invite you to visit my new place where you can read about different topics as cinema, parties I have been to, visits to museums, concerts, music bands or anything else I feel like posting without the fear of saturating my blog about dolls with unrelated topics.

Que no cunda el pánico, no voy a abandonar este blog ni tengo pensado cerrarlo. El tema es que durante un tiempo he estado pensando en abrir un blog nuevo en el que escribir sobre esos temas que no tienen relación alguna con los muñecos. 

Cuando abrí este blog, mi idea principal era la de mostrar mis muñecos y contar mis vivencias con ellos, pero poco a poco he ido publicando entradas que poco o nada tenían que ver con el tema principal del blog, los muñecos, y no quiero que se me vaya de las manos, he pensado en abrir un blog nuevo en el que subir esos temas que aquí no tienen sentido. No supone más tiempo para mantenerlo ya que da igual escribir las entradas en un blog que en otro, es simplemente un tema de organización y así, evitar que los lectores de este blog se vean obligados a ver temas que no les interesa.

En el nuevo blog he importado entradas que habéis podido ver y leer por aquí, pero esas entradas no las voy a borrar de este blog porque forman parte de su historia.

Dicho esto, os invito a visitar mi nuevo espacio donde podréis leer sobre temas tan diversos como el cine, fiestas a las que haya asistido, visitas a museos, conciertos, grupos musicales o cualquier otra cosa que me apetezca publicar sin miedo de saturar mi blog de muñecos con temas que no tienen relación.

Recycling furniture exhibition · Exposición reciclaje de muebles 08-06-2015

As you know, recently I finished a course on recycling furniture that I really liked because it was so creative. Finally, it was also made an exhibition that is held in a cultural center of my city and which opened on June 8 and will end on June 15.

I went to the inauguration with my mother because she was the only person who could accompany me. In the cultural center we meet the teacher and my classmates M and JM along with their companions. J went alone. H and A didn't attend. Also in attendance were other people who participated in the course, either by donating old furniture that we use for recycling, or organizers of the course.

As from outside you could see the room of the exhibition, I took pictures of the stools. I didn't photographed the rest of furniture from outside because the window did reflections and photos would not look good.

Como ya sabéis, recientemente acabé un curso sobre reciclaje de muebles que me gustó mucho por lo creativo que fue. Finalmente se hizo también una exposición que se ha hecho en un centro cultural de mi ciudad y que se inauguró el 8 de Junio y terminará el 15 de Junio. 

A la inauguración fui con mi madre, ya que fue la única persona que pudo acompañarme. En el centro cultural nos reunimos la profesora y mis compañeros M y JM junto con sus acompañantes. J fue solo. H y A no asistieron. También asistieron otras personas que participaron en el curso, ya sea donando muebles viejos que nosotros utilizamos para reciclar, u organizadores del curso.

Como desde fuera se podía ver la sala de la exposición, hice fotos a los taburetes. El resto de muebles no los fotografié desde fuera porque la ventana hacía reflejos y las fotos no quedarían bien.

Course of Recycling furniture - May (Part 2) · Curso de Reciclaje de muebles - Mayo (Parte 2)

We have reach the end of the posts related to the course of recycling old furniture. In this post I'll show you the work that my classmates made individually and what we did as a group. And at the end of the post, I'll tell you what I think about the course in general, so as it will be a fairly long post I won't expand on longer.

I start with stool that our classmate H recycled. It was all he did during this month because the past three days he didn't attend the course without giving reasons.

The stool is recycled in the same way as other classmates and me have done the other ones, so little to explain if you've already seen the previous posts (at the end of this same post you can find the links).

Ya llegamos al final de las entradas relacionadas con el curso de reciclaje de muebles viejos. En esta entrada os voy a mostrar el trabajo que mis compañeros hicieron de forma individual y lo que hicimos de forma grupal. Y al final de la entrada, os contaré qué es lo que me ha parecido el curso en general, así que como va a ser una entrada bastante larga no me extiendo más.

Empiezo con un taburete que nuestro compañero H recicló. Fue lo único que hizo durante este mes porque los tres últimos días no asistió al curso sin dar motivos.

El taburete está reciclado de la misma forma que el resto que hemos hecho tanto otros compañeros como yo, así que poco que explicar si ya habéis visto las entradas anteriores (al final de esta misma entrada podéis encontrar los enlaces).

Course of Recycling furniture - May (Part 1) · Curso de Reciclaje de muebles - Mayo (Parte 1)

Course of Recycling furniture - April (Part 2) · Curso de Reciclaje de muebles - Abril (Parte 2)

Today has been the last day of the course of recycling furniture. I'll talk about it in an upcoming post I will write next week because first I want to show you the works my classmates did in the course of recycling furniture and what we did together in April. As I did last month, I will name them by the initial of their names.

I'll start with A's chair. He hasn't a good health and he only attended a couple times in April, so he and our teacher finished the chair that A began in March.

Hoy ha terminado el curso de reciclaje de muebles. Ya hablaré sobre ello en una próxima entrada que escribiré la próxima semana porque primero os quiero mostrar el trabajo que hicieron mis compañeros del curso de reciclaje de muebles y lo que hicimos todos juntos en el mes de Abril. Tal y como hice el mes pasado, les nombraré por la inicial de sus nombres.

Empezaré por la silla de A. No está muy bien de salud y en Abril solo asistió un par de días, así que entre él y la profesora terminaron la silla que A empezó en Marzo. 

Course of Recycling furniture - April (Part 1) · Curso de Reciclaje de muebles - Abril (Parte 1)

The month is ending and I haven't shown you yet what we did last month in the course of recycling furniture.

As I did last month, in order this post is not boring, I'm going to divide it into two parts. In this one I show what I made in April.

In March I started to decorate a small school chair in which I had to to finish the transfer. The first week of April I finished it and in the following photos you can see how it has turned out.

El mes está acabando y aún no os he enseñado lo que hicimos en el mes de Abril en el curso de reciclaje de muebles. 

Tal y como hice el mes pasado, dividiré el tema en dos entradas para que no se haga pesado. En esta entrada os voy a enseñar lo que hice en Abril.

En Marzo empecé a decorar una silla escolar pequeña a la que me faltó terminar el transfer. La primera semana de Abril la terminé y en las siguientes fotos podéis ver cómo ha quedado. 

Harajuku Fashion Walk Vol. 1 - Barcelona 25-04-2015

On April 25th I attended to the Harajuku Fashion Walk Barcelona! - Vol.1 event, organized by the Japanese fashion store Madame Chocolat, with my friends Nadia Chaudhary, Chandrama and a friend of them, Gisela.

I heard about this event because my friend Nadia invited me to go, so as I'm up for anything, I decided to attend. And the question is, what was this event about? It was the first meeting dedicated to Japanese and alternative fashion in Barcelona, where any kind of style was valid: Gothic, Lolita, Visual Kei, Steampunk, Punk, Fairy Kei... you see, everything that is out of casual.

From 4 p.m. the event began in the store Madame Chocolat, where they had their events hall enabled with a photocall and some sweets and soda drinks. I arrived around 4:30 p.m. and met my friends. Nadia and Gisela were dressed as Sweet Lolita, Chandrama chose a Gothic Lolita dress. As for me, I went with my usual outfit, Metalhead with a bit of Visual/Gothic. We talked a while and finally we decide to go down the hall to see the atmosphere, where there were a lot of people and a photographer could take photos in the space provided for the photocall. I didn't want to take photos of myself, but my friends and Gisela did. Click on the image below to see all the photos of the photocall:

El pasado día 25 de Abril asistí a la Harajuku Fashion Walk Barcelona! - Vol.1, organizado por la tienda de moda japonesa Madame Chocolat, con mis amigas Nadia Chaudhary, Chandrama y una amiga de ellas, Gisela. 

Me enteré de este evento porque mi amiga Nadia me invitó a ir, así que como me apunto a un bombardeo si hace falta, decidí asistir. Y la pregunta es, ¿en qué consistía este evento? Se trataba de la primera quedada en Barcelona dedicado a la moda japonesa y alternativa, dónde cualquier estilo de moda era válido: Gótico, Lolita, Visual Kei, Steampunk, Punk, Fairy Kei... Vamos, todo lo que se salga de lo convencional.

A partir de las 16:00h empezó el evento en la tienda Madame Chocolat, donde tenían su sala de eventos habilitada con un photocall y pica-pica. Yo llegué sobre las 16:30h y enseguida encontré a mis amigas. Nadia y Gisela iban vestidas de Sweet Lolita, Chandrama eligió un vestido Gothic Lolita. En cuanto a mí, yo fui con mi atuendo habitual, Metalero con toques Visual/Gótico. Estuvimos hablando un rato y finalmente decidimos bajar a la sala para ver el ambiente, dónde había bastante gente y una fotógrafa podía hacerte fotos en el espacio habilitado para el photocall. Yo no me quise hacer fotos, pero mis amigas y Gisela sí. Pinchad en la siguiente imagen para ver las fotos del photocall:

Sant Jordi 2015 & Disney Store - Classic Doll "Frozen: Elsa"

On April 23rd was Sant Jordi (St. George). This day in Catalonia is similar to Valentine's day on which men give women a rose and women give men a book. As I have romanticism lost and don't have a boyfriend, I see it on the other hand, the day of the book and the festival around it in Barcelona, although is a working day.

Normally I don't go to Barcelona for Sant Jordi because of the crowd at the center of the city, but this year I wanted to go because I wanted to get a book signed by the author. The book is "Quiénes fueron realmente los vikingos" (Who the Vikings really were), by the historian Laia San José Beltrán (page in Spanish). So as I was free in the afternoon, I went to Barcelona with my mother.

As Laia Sant José would be in the stand signing books from 5 p.m. and we went to the city earlier to better leverage the afternoon, I suggested going to Disney Store because you know I've been looking for Elsa doll for a while. Finally the doll has been replenished! So I didn't hesitate and picked mine. If I wouldn't have suggested going to the store, I would have lost the chance to get it. Next you can see photos of the doll.

We start with the shopping bag of "Frozen", with a new illustration in which Kristoff, Elsa, Anna, Sven and Olaf are drawn.

El 23 de Abril fue Sant Jordi (San Jorge). En Cataluña es un día parecido al de San Valentín en el que los hombres regalan una rosa a las mujeres y ellas regalan un libro a los hombres. Como yo tengo el romanticismo perdido y no tengo pareja, lo miro por el otro lado, el día del libro y me quedo con la festividad que hay en torno a ello en Barcelona, aunque el día es laborable. 

Normalmente no suelo ir a Barcelona en Sant Jordi por la aglomeración de gente que hay en el centro de la ciudad, pero este año quise ir porque me interesaba conseguir un libro firmado por su autora. Se trata del libro "Quiénes fueron realmente los vikingos", por la historiadora Laia San José Beltrán. Así que como tenía la tarde libre, me fui a Barcelona con mi madre.

Como Laia San José estaría en su stand firmando libros a partir de las 5 de la tarde y nosotras fuimos a la ciudad antes de esa hora para aprovechar mejor la tarde, sugerí ir a la tienda Disney Store porque ya sabéis que llevo un tiempo buscando la muñeca de Elsa. ¡Por fin habían repuesto la muñeca! Así que no lo dudé y cogí la mía. Si no hubiese sugerido ir a la tienda, habría perdido la oportunidad de tenerla. A continuación podéis ver las fotos de la muñeca.

Empezamos con la bolsa de compra de "Frozen", con un dibujo nuevo en la que están dibujados Kristoff, Elsa, Anna, Sven y Olaf. 

Course of Recycling furniture - March (Part 2) · Curso de Reciclaje de muebles - Marzo (Parte 2)

In my previous post I showed the work I made in March in the course on recycling furniture. As I said, now I'm going to show you the work my classmates made.

I will refer to my classmates by their initials because I don't like to use real names on Internet.

Let's start with A's chair, who hasn't come for weeks and we don't know if we ever see him again. He seemed quite interested in the course, so we hope he's fine.

His chair was pretty boring, so he painted it with acrylic paint in white with a greyish tone colour and the metal structure with synthetic paint. Later he sanded the seat and backrest to give an aged appearance and put a transfer that never touched because didn't reappear in the workshop again. Our teacher is finishing it in his place and that's what it looked like the last day of class in March.

En mi anterior entrada os enseñé el trabajo que hice en marzo en el curso sobre reciclaje de muebles. Tal y como comenté, ahora os voy a enseñar el trabajo que hicieron el resto de mis compañeros. 

A mis compañeros les llamaré por sus iniciales ya que no me gusta utilizar los nombres auténticos en Internet.

Empecemos con la silla de A, que hace semanas que no aparece por el taller y no sabemos si volveremos a verle. Parecía bastante interesado en el curso, así que esperamos que esté bien.

Su silla era bastante aburrida, así que la pintó de blanco con un punto gris con pintura acrílica y la estructura metálica con pintura sintética. Después lijó el asiento y respaldo para darle un aspecto envejecido y le puso un transfer que no llegó a tocar porque no volvió a aparecer por el taller. Nuestra profesora la está terminando en su lugar y así es como quedó hasta el último día de clase de marzo. 

Course of Recycling furniture - March (Part 1) · Curso de Reciclaje de muebles - Marzo (Parte 1)

In February I mentioned in a post that from March I would attend to a course on recycling furniture and said that I would let you know if I like it or not. Some people also commented that they would like to see photos of the furniture we recycle and although the subject has nothing to do with BJDs and dolls, I think it may be interesting to post here.

In order this post is not boring, I'm going to divide it into two parts. In the first, I'll show you the work I have made in March and in the second part, I'll show you the work that my classmates have done during the same month.

I only go two days a week, three hours each day. As for we have done during the first month, I have to say that I'm enjoying it and is a good atmosphere among the classmates. In total we are four men and three women counting our tutor.

This first month we haven't done much. Each one of us has begun to recycle a chair so that we could begin to become familiar with the tools and materials. I chose a small school chair that was very stained with paint and plaster, so our tutor cleaned a big part of paint and I finished cleaning removing plaster before beginning to paint.

I didn't take photos of the chair before this process, but to give you an idea, it was similar to this one but smaller:

En febrero comenté que a partir de marzo iba a asistir a un curso sobre reciclaje de muebles, del que dije que contaría si me gustaba. También hay quien comentó que le gustaría ver fotos de los muebles que reciclásemos y aunque el tema no tiene nada que ver con las BJDs ni las muñecas, me parece que puede ser interesante publicarlo por aquí. 

Para que esta entrada no se haga muy pesada, la voy en dividir en dos partes. En la primera, os mostraré el trabajo que he hecho en marzo y en la segunda parte os enseñaré el trabajo que han hecho mis compañeros durante el mismo mes. 

Al curso tan solo voy dos veces por semana, tres hora cada uno de estos días. Por lo que hemos empezado a hacer durante el primer mes, he de decir que me está gustando y hay buen ambiente entre los compañeros. En total somos cuatro hombres, dos mujeres y la tutora.

Este primer mes no hemos hecho mucho. Cada uno de nosotros ha empezado a reciclar una silla para que así nos empezásemos a familiarizar con las herramientas y materiales. Yo elegí una silla escolar pequeña que estaba muy manchada de pintura y yeso, así que nuestra tutora limpió gran parte de pintura y yo terminé de limpiarla quitándole el yeso antes de empezar a pintarla.

No hice fotos de la silla antes de este proceso, pero para que os hagáis una idea, era parecida a esta pero más pequeña:

Last 11th March was my birthday. Between one thing and another, I haven't talked about it here. The truth is that I never celebrate my birthday, Even so, is always nice that family and friends remember that day because that means they think of you.

I'm going to show you the gifts I received for that day.

El pasado 11 de Marzo fue mi cumpleaños. Entre unas cosas y otras, no os he hablado sobre ello por aquí. La verdad es que nunca celebro mi cumpleaños, aún así siempre hace ilusión que familiares y amigos se acuerden de ese día porque eso significa que piensan en ti.

Os voy a enseñar los regalos que recibí para ese día.

Picasa Web, dark and grey photos fixed · Picasa Web, fotos oscuras y grises solucionado

In this post I mentioned that I confirmed my suspicions that Picasa Web darkens photos is true. Anyone who knows me, knows that I investigate to infinite to check for solutions to problems, so I decided to investigate to find out how the hell could prevent that Picasa Web edits my photos as it pleased when I don't want it to do it because I knew that somehow had to be able to do. When I upload photos, first I edit them in Photoshop and when I think that are more or less correct in my knowledge, I upload them and therefore I don't need any other program that would edit them because they're that cool.

After researching, I read in forums and other sites that many people had this problem and couldn't find a solution for it (even I read cases where directly they left their blog for this reason o.O ) until I found a solution for this problem I want to share with you if you have the same problem and you don't know how to fix it. As you know, both Blogger and Picasa Web belong to Google and I have always avoided having an active Google+ account because I don't like social networks and I wouldn't use it. Well, I've had no choice but to active that account only to fix this problem of dark and grey photos because they FORCE YOU to activate a Google+ account if you want to make these changes.

Once you have your Google+ account, go to http://google.com/settings/plus. Done that, search in "Photos and videos" and deactivate the automatic settings. As simple as that the problem of dark photos is fixed in the next photos you'll upload. I have automatic effects disabled as well because I have no idea what it does and as I said before, I edit my photos in Photoshop and I don't need anything that plays with my pics without my supervision. I hope it can helps you. My second choice was to upload all my photos on flickr and I'm using that account to upload some pics only. For my artworks blog I don't accept the option to upload my illustrations on flickr and I wanted to keep using Picasa Web because I find it more comfortable.

By the way, the next capture has the text in Spanish, but I guess settings are the same in English version.

En esta entrada comenté que confirmé mis sospechas de que Picasa Web oscurece las fotos es cierta. Quien me conoce, sabe que indago hasta el infinito para comprobar si hay solución a los problemas, así que decidí investigar para averiguar como diablos podía evitar que Picasa Web retocase mis fotos como le daba la gana cuando no quiero que lo haga porque sabía que de algún modo se tenía que poder hacer. Cuando subo fotos, primero las edito con Photoshop y cuando veo que más o menos están correctas dentro de mis conocimientos, las subo y por lo tanto, no tengo necesidad de que ningún programa ni ninguna página web me vuelva a retocar las fotografías porque son así de guais.

Después de investigar, leí en foros y otras páginas que muchísima gente tenía este problema y no encontraban solución para ello (incluso leí casos en los que directamente abandonaban su blog por este motivo o.O ) hasta que di con una solución a este problema que quiero compartir con vosotr@s por si tenéis el mismo problema y no sabéis cómo solucionarlo. Como ya sabéis, tanto Blogger como Picasa Web pertenecen a Google y siempre he evitado tener una cuenta Google+ activa porque no me gustan las redes sociales y no la iba a usar. Pues no he tenido más remedio que activar dicha cuenta solo para poder solucionar este problema de las fotos oscuras y grises porque sí, te OBLIGAN a activar una cuenta en Google+ si quieres hacer estos cambios.

Una vez que tenéis vuestra cuenta de Google+, entrad en http://google.com/settings/plus. Hecho esto, buscad en "Fotos y vídeos" y desactivad el ajuste automático. Así de simple se soluciona el problema de las fotos oscuras en las próximas fotos que subáis. Los efectos automáticos también lo tengo desactivado porque no tengo ni idea de para qué sirve y como he dicho anteriormente, mis fotografías las edito con Photoshop y no necesito nada que me toquetee las fotos sin mi supervisión. Espero que os sirva de ayuda. Mi segunda opción era subir todas mis fotos en flickr, cuenta que solo utilizo para subir algunas fotos seleccionadas y para mi blog artístico no acepto la opción de subir mis dibujos en flickr y quería seguir usando Picasa Web porque me resulta más cómodo.

Para que veáis la diferencia, os voy a enseñar una foto que subí antes de desactivar el ajuste automático y la misma foto con el ajuste desactivado.

As you see, the difference is noticeable. What is to say that their automatic settings are a real crap that not only ruins the colours, contrast and brightness of the pic, it also lowers the quality considerably.

Now this problem is fixed, I hope our friends of Google won't annoy after a while with another of their obligatory updates that have not asked permission for to accept because they want to.

Como veis, la diferencia se nota. Lo que viene a decir que sus ajustes automáticos son una auténtica porquería que no solo estropea los colores, contraste y brillos de la fotografía, sino que además le baja la calidad de forma considerable.

Ahora que este problema está solucionado, espero que estos señores de Google no vuelvan a fastidiar dentro de un tiempo con otra de sus actualizaciones obligatorias de las que no me han pedido permiso para aceptarlas porque sí.

Palau Reial de Pedralbes (Barcelona) 26-01-2014

Last Sunday I went with two friends to the gardens of Palau Reial (Royal Palace) in Barcelona. It's a beautiful place to take photos, so we spent most of the afternoon there taking photos of our BJDs.

As I like photography even though I have no idea of photography, I took photos of the facade of the palace and the gardens, which are the photos that I'm showing. As it's winter, there weren't flowers and many trees had no leaves on its branches, so it wasn't very colourful and you can see how these gardens are at this time of the year. Tomorrow or Thursday I'll upload the photos I took of Hiroki there. I hope you like this ones!

El domingo fui con dos amigas a los jardines del Palau Reial (Palacio Real) de Barcelona. Es lugar es precioso para hacer fotos, así que pasamos parte de la tarde por allí haciendo fotos de nuestros BJD's. 

Como la fotografía me gusta aunque no tenga ni idea de fotografía, también hice fotos a la fachada del palacio y los jardines, que son las fotos que os voy a enseñar. Como es invierno, no habían flores y muchos árboles no tenían hojas en sus ramas, así que no era muy colorido y podéis ver cómo son los jardines en esta época del año. Para mañana o el jueves subiré las fotos que le hice a Hiroki. ¡Espero que os gusten estas!
