This time I publish this post in time and with a photo of BJDs. It has been a long time since I shown the fox brothers.

The theme of the month is "Regret", so I began to think and fell into something that has happened to all of us.

En esta ocasión si publico a tiempo y con una foto de BJDs. Hacía muchísimo tiempo que no enseñaba a los hermanos zorrunos.

El tema del mes es "Arrepentimiento", así que me puse a pensar y caí en algo que nos ha pasado a todos. 

Late birthdays · Cumpleaños atrasados

This year I haven't taken photos for the birthdays of some of my BJDs due to lack of time. As I was sorry they seem forgotten, I have taken two group photos so they're not sad and know that I still love them.

Este año no he hecho fotos por los cumpleaños de algunos de mis BJDs por falta de tiempo. Como me daba penita dejarlos olvidados, les he hecho dos fotos grupales para que así no estén tristes y sepan que les sigo queriendo.  

5th Anniversary of Dean & Sam - 6th Anniversary of Aiko & Daisuke

Today we have anniversary photo shoots. On the 15th was the 6th anniversary of Aiko and on the 16th was Daisuke's, so I did a photo shoot together to celebrate it.

Hoy tenemos sesiones de aniversarios. El día 15 fue el 6º aniversario de Aiko y el día 16 fue el de Daisuke, así que les hice una sesión fotográfica juntos para celebrarlo.

Halloween 2016 - BJD's

And here it is the last photo shoot of Halloween. As we already have so many BJDs and requires a lot of time taking pictures of all, I decided take the shortest way and make the MSD and animals the the protagonists.

Y aquí tenemos la última sesión de Halloween. Como tenemos ya tantos BJDs y requiere muchísimo tiempo hacer fotos de todos, decidí ir a lo rápido y que los protagonistas fuesen los MSD y los animalitos.

Shirley meets family · Shirley conoce a la familia

Shirley, a Charles' Creature Cabinet 'Batty Boo Pink',  was incorporated in the BJDs family last June. At this time I have been taking photos of her with the rest of the family, so she has met them and I have finally took the latest photos.

Let's see what impressions she has of each of them.

En Junio se incorporó a la familia de BJD's Shirley, una 'Batty Boo' rosa de Charles' Creature Cabinet. En este tiempo he ido haciendo fotos de ella con el resto de la familia para que se vayan conociendo y por fin terminé con las últimas fotos.

Dean & Sam 3rd Anniversary · 3er Aniversario de Dean y Sam

On the 18th December was the 3rd anniversary of Dean and Sam, the twins foxes. Yesterday I took some photos of them and today I can show.

El día 18 de Diciembre fue el 3er aniversario de Dean y Sam, los zorritos gemelos. Ayer les hice unas fotos y hoy las puedo mostrar.  

Halloween 2015

We're at that time of year that I love, Halloween! Although this year nearly I don't take photos for lack of motivation. It turns out last October 6th my paternal grandfather died and we are now in mourning. We visited him every week and in recent months he was ill, so now miss that weekly visit. Still, life goes on for those who are here and finally I found motivation for the Halloween shots this year. I was inspired by old photographs in black and white, I think they have a special magic that colour photographs lack. Also I have aged them with Photoshop, you'll see that I used two ways to do it.

Then I show you the pictures I've taken of our BJDs.

Ya estamos en esa época del año que tanto me gusta, ¡Halloween! Aunque este año por poco no hago fotografías por falta de motivación. Resulta que el pasado 6 de Octubre falleció mi abuelo paterno y ahora estamos con el duelo. Iba a visitarle todas las semanas y en los últimos meses había dado un bajón bastante importante, así que ahora se echa en falta el no ir a hacerle la visita semanal. Aún así, la vida sigue para los que estamos aquí y finalmente encontré motivación para la sesión de Halloween de este año. Me he inspirado en las fotografías antiguas en blanco y negro, que pienso que tienen una magia especial que las fotografías en color carecen. También las he envejecido con Photoshop, veréis que utilicé dos formas de hacerlo.

I'm a member of the group Resin Aperture on deviantART, in which each month there's a challenge to learn and practice photography. The challenge in April is to take a photo with High Key lighting, in which light colour predominate avoiding harsh shadows, so I practiced with my hybrid camera using Daisuke. Finally I got to do this shoot: 

En deviantART soy miembro del grupo Resin Aperture, en el que cada mes hacen un reto para aprender y practicar fotografía. Para abril, el reto es hacer una foto con iluminación High Key (clave alta), en la que predominan los colores claros evitando las sombras duras, así que me puse a practicar con mi cámara híbrida utilizando a Daisuke y finalmente conseguí hacer esta sesión: 

Advent wreath · Corona de adviento

Christmas is just around the corner. I don't like these holidays, I don't feel it and neither celebrate it. Anyway I'd like to participate in some games in the Spanish forum "Café Articulado" and because of laziness I haven't participated in any yet. I lie, I participated in a contest I'll write about in another post. Today I have proposed to participate in the game "Advent wreath" of that forum, so I've removed laziness off, I've taken out of the bag a few Christmas ornaments (no, we haven't even placed our Christmas tree, there it is stored in a box above the lounge furniture), I've made an advent wreath with a Christmas garland and I have put candles that are lit with bulbs in the absence of real candles (apart that I'd be afraid to use real candles because of how the advent wreath is and the dolls I've used aren't very stable) into the improvised crown and I've taken four photos that I'll upload in flickr and the forum later. The result? Just see it yourselves.

Navidad está ya a la vuelta de la esquina. Es una fecha que no me gusta, no la siento y tampoco la celebro. Aún así, me gustaría participar en algunos juegos del "Café Articulado" y por dejadez aún no he participado en ninguno. Miento, participé en un concurso del que hablaré en otra entrada. Pero hoy me he propuesto participar en el juego "Corona de Adviento" de dicho foro, así que me que quitado la pereza de encima, he sacado de la bolsa unos adornos de navidad que tenemos por casa (no, no hemos puesto ni el árbol, ahí sigue guardado dentro de una caja encima del mueble del comedor), he hecho una corona con unas guirnaldas navideñas y he puesto dentro de la corona improvisada unas velitas que se encienden con bombillas a falta de velas de verdad (aparte de que me daría miedo encender velas de verdad por tal y como he hecho la corona y porque los muñecos que he utilizado para las fotos no son muy estables) y he hecho las cuatro fotos que luego subiré a flickr y al foro. ¿El resultado? Comprobadlo vosotr@s mism@s.

Recast is killing the hobby, as simple as that. Why? I read that Lillycat has been a victim of recast, being her mold Constantine the recasted doll. Are you seeing what this means? Another artist who spends a lot of hours, days and even weeks to sculpt one of her dolls, has been a victim of recast. Prorecast has contributed to this theft and Lillycat may feel sad and wondering why people can be as fake and prefer to purchase a non legit doll instead of hers, who's who deserves it because she's the sculptor, not Luo Lugui, who is enriched at the expence of the work of others who HAVE worked. A few months ago I wrote a post to say why I don't and will never support recast.

Yesterday I saw in flickr something very interesting to support BJD artists. All you have to do today, Sunday 16th November, is to take a photo of one of your doll with a supportive message, submit it everywhere: FB, tumblr, dA, Flikr, Twitter, Instagram, with the tag: #proBjdArtists

I want to give a big hug to saskha for this great idea.

I thought I wouldn't be in time to participate, but here are two pics of our dolls supporting BJD artists. All our BJDs, Chinese and Korean, are legit and we (my mother and me) are proud to have saved for months and/or years to purchase them.

El recast está matando el hobby, tan simple como eso. ¿Por qué? He leído que Lillycat ha sido víctima del recast, siendo su molde Constantine la muñeca recasteada. ¿Sabéis lo que significa esto? Otra artista que se ha pasado horas, días e incluso semanas para esculpir una de sus muñecas, ha sido víctima del recast. Pro-recast ha contribuido a este robo y Lillycat se debe sentir mal y preguntándose porqué la gente es tan falsa que prefiere comprar un muñeco no legítimo en lugar del suyo, que es quien se lo merece por ser la escultora, no Luo Ligui, que se enriquece a costa del trabajo de otras personas que SÍ se han esforzado. Hace unos meses escribí una entrada para explicar porqué no estoy ni estaré a favor del recast.

Ayer vi en flickr algo muy interesante para apoyar a los artistas de BJDs. Lo que hay que hacer hoy, Domingo 16 de Noviembre, es hacer una foto a uno de tus muñecos con un mensaje de apoyo y subirlo a todas partes: FB, tumblr, dA, Flikr, Twitter, Instagram, con el tag: #proBjdArtists

Pensé que no me daría tiempo participar, pero aquí están las dos fotos que he hecho de nuestros muñecos apoyando a los artistas de BJDs. Todos nuestros BJD, chinos y coreanos, son legítimos y nosotras (mi madre y yo) estamos orgullosas de haber ahorrado durante meses y/o años para comprarlos. 

Halloween 2014 - Daisuke, Dean & Sam

Halloween is here! If you read me, you know that I love Halloween and I celebrate it every year making thematic shoots of my BJDs. This year I haven't been able to  take photos of all BJDs, they are many and I haven't had time to make all the thematic shoots, but the most important is that I have managed to make three of them. In this post I show you the shoot I have made of my three tiny: Daisuke, Dean and Sam.

¡Halloween ya está aquí! Si me leéis desde hace tiempo, ya sabéis que me encanta Halloween y todos los años lo celebro haciendo sesiones temáticas a mis BJDs. Finalmente este año no he sido capaz de hacer fotos a todos los BJDs, son muchos y no he tenido tiempo para hacer todas las sesiones temáticas, pero lo importante es que he conseguido hacer tres. Adventurer's Club - July: Travel Case

I have finally taken the photos for the Adventurer's Club challenge. Like last month, I knew exactly what to do for this challenge, "Travel Case". , but between one thing and another, I haven't been able to take these photos until almost the last moment.

So for this challenge I'm going to show you how I carry my dolls when I take the very few photos outside.

Por fin he hecho las fotos para el reto del Adventurer's Club. Como el mes pasado, sabía perfectamente qué hacer para este reto, "Travel Case" (Maleta de viaje), pero entre unas cosas y otras, no pude hacer las fotos hasta casi el último momento.

Pues para este reto os voy a enseñar cómo transporto a mis muñecos cuando hago las escasísimas fotos en exterior.

Today I have taken a couple pics of our 3 tinies. The battery ran out and I couldn't take more. Actually, I shouldn't have taken these pics because in their respective stories, foxes and Daisuke don't know each other and belong to different worlds, but it's not bad not respecting the script occasionally to take photos like these ones ◕‿─

Hoy les he hecho un par de fotos a nuestros 3 enanos. Se agotó la batería y no pude hacer más. En realidad no debería haber hecho estas fotos porque en sus respectivas historias, los zorritos y Daisuke no se conocen y pertenecen a mundos diferentes, pero no está mal salirse del guión de vez en cuando para hacer fotos como estas ◕‿─ 

Adventurer's Club - May: Someplace Scary

I couldn't think of any good idea for the "Adverturer Club", whose challenge for May is "Someplace Scary". Finally an idea came on mind and I took the photo.

No se me ocurría ninguna idea buena para el "Adventurer's Club" cuyo reto del mes de Mayo es "Un lugar aterrador". Finalmente una idea vino a mi cabeza y tomé la foto.

Is there anything scariest than being locked in a cage, surrounded by huge poisonous spiders and see the fate that awaits you is death? Well, maybe I went too far... XD

PS: Don't worry, Sam and Dean are in perfect condition and managed to go out the cage.

¿Hay algo más aterrador que estar encerrado en una jaula, rodeado de enormes arañas venenosas y ver que el destino que te espera es el de la muerte? Quizá me he pasado... XD

Twin fox first anniversary / El primer cumpleaños de los gemelos zorrunos

Yesterday was the first anniversary of our twin foxes, Sam and Dean, but I didn't feel like taking photos of them because I felt really bad because of allergies (I felt like if I had a flu). Today I feel fine again so I've taken quick pics of them to celebrate their first year with us.

Halloween 2013 (Part 1)

As every year, I'm coming with a shoot for Halloween! This is the first part of... three? and the protagonists are the tiny ones; Daisuke and the foxes Sam and Dean (incidentally, these two are named after the main characters brothers of the TV series "Supernatural", a quite "Halloweenish" series).

Como cada año, ¡aquí vengo con una sesión para Halloween! Esta es la primera parte de.. ¿tres? y los protagonistas son los enanos de la casa; Daisuke y los zorritos Sam y Dean (por cierto, estos dos se llaman así por los hermanos protagonistas de la serie "Sobrenatural", una serie bastente "Halloweenesca").

With Daisuke, the shoot was perfect. But with the fox brothers...  Honestly, I doubt that I'll take photos of them again. I'm going to keep them, but just as cute dolls that are ornaments on the shelf.
Con Daisuke la sesión fue perfecta, pero con los hermanos zorrunos...  Sinceramente, dudo mucho que vuelva a cogerlos para hacerles más fotos. Los conservaré, pero como muñequitos monos que están de adorno en la estantería.
