I haven't drawn Toshi for years and I had been wanting to draw him showing his electricity manipulation powers for a long time. I have finally done it for a new contest in PaigeeWorld.

Although Toshi's mold doesn't have fangs, I wanted to show them because that's how the character is. His pointy ears are covered by his hair and that's why they aren't shown. I liked to draw Toshi after so long, is a character that I appreciate a lot.

Hacía años que no dibujaba a Toshi y llevaba tiempo queriendo dibujarle mostrando sus poderes con el manejo de la electricidad. Por fin lo he hecho por motivo de un nuevo concurso en PaigeeWorld.

Aunque el molde de Toshi no tiene colmillitos, he querido mostrarlos en el dibujo porque así es el personaje. Sus orejitas picudas están tapadas por el pelo y por eso no se muestran. Me ha gustado volver a dibujar a Toshi después de tanto tiempo, es un personaje al que aprecio mucho.

Charles Creature Cabinet's Halloween Event "Drawing Designing" contest

This time I want to show you a drawing that despite is not about any of my dolls, is related with BJDs.

The BJD company 'Charles Creature Cabinet' is holding a Halloween event contest in which you can win their upcoming bat anthro Batty Boo. I couldn't resist to enter this contest and designing my little bat, you may know that bats are my favourite animals ever and I love Halloween. It's been a lot of fun to make this drawing.

Yes, I know bats aren't blue. I wanted to give a fantasy touch giving it my favourite colour.

En esta ocasión os quiero enseñar un dibujo que aunque no representa a ninguno de mis muñecos, sí está relacionado con el tema de las BJD.

La casa de BJD 'Charles Creature Cabinet' ha organizado un evento de Halloween en el que puedes ganar su nuevo murciélago antro Batty Boo. No he podido resistirme para participar en este concurso y diseñar a mi pequeño murciélago, como ya debéis saber, los murciélagos son mis animales favoritos y me encanta Halloween. Ha sido muy divertido hacer este dibujo.

Sí, ya sé que los murciélagos no son azuless. He querido darle un toque de fantasía dándole mi color favorito.

Black cat

Today I come with a drawing of Maiko, so as it is a character that has its BJD version, I want to show you.

I joined PaigeeWorld this summer, a site where you can upload your drawings and photos and share them with a community of many good artists. In this site organize several and interesting challenge-competitions and there are currently open several for Halloween, so this is one of my entries. The theme is "Black Cat" and you have to draw yourself, your original character or a PaigeeWorld character as a witch or wizard with their magical animal. I decided to draw Maiko, my original character, because she is a witch, so in this illustration you can see her with her pet, a clever black cat ready to help her in her missions.

Hoy vengo con un dibujo de Maiko, así que como es un personaje que tiene su versión en BJD, os lo quiero mostrar.

Este verano me uní a PaigeeWorld, una página donde puedes subir tus dibujos y fotografías y compartirlos con una comunidad de muchos y buenos artistas. En esta página organizan muchos e interesantes concursos y actualmente hay varios abiertos sobre Halloween, así que esta es una de mis participaciones. El tema es "Black Cat" (gato negro) y se trata de dibujarte a ti mismo, a tu personaje original o a un personaje de PaigeeWorld vestido de bruja o brujo acompañado por su animal mágico. He decidido dibujar a Maiko, mi personaje original, porque es una bruja, así que en esta ilustración podéis verle con su mascota, un gatito negro la mar de listo que le ayuda en sus misiones.

My art blog has a new URL · Mi blog artístico tiene una URL nueva

This time I do an exception and I won't a publish a post about dolls, although it's important that you know.

As you know, a few months ago I changed my old nickname, 'Diabolikal Lily' by the current one, 'Lily Skadi'. This has made me need to update it everywhere, including my art blog. Fortunately I have been able to change the URL address of the blog without problem, but if someone searchs it from my old nick, that is, through this address:

You will find that it says it doesn't exist. So please, from now on visit my artistic blog through this new address:

I've made a update. It has a new header and have completely changed the blog template. Now it's more like my other two blogs, Valkyrie Memories, and Genwaku, the one you're seeing right now. Each one has its special design, but I wanted them to have things in common. Apart from that, nothing has changed and entries have not undergone any changes.

Esta vez hago una excepción y no voy a publicar una entrada sobre muñecos, aunque sí es importante que lo sepáis.

Como sabéis, hace unos meses cambié mi antiguo nick, 'Diabolikal Lily', por el actual, 'Lily Skadi'. Esto ha hecho que tenga que actualizarlo en todas partes, incluyendo mi blog artístico. Afortunadamente he podido cambiar la dirección URL del blog sin problema, pero si alguien lo busca por mi antiguo nick, es decir, a través de esta dirección:

Comprobaréis que sale como que no existe. Así que por favor, a partir de ahora visitad mi blog artístico a través de esta nueva dirección:

Le he hecho un lavado de cara integral. Tiene cabecera nueva y he cambiado completamente la plantilla del blog. Ahora es más parecido a mis otros dos blogs, Valkyrie Memories y Genwaku, éste mismo que estáis viendo. Cada uno tiene su diseño especial, pero quería que tuviesen cosas en común. Por lo demás, todo sigue igual y las entradas no han sufrido ningún cambio.

First artwork of the year. I half-drew the sketch a while ago, I don't remember if it was in 2013 or 2014. I didn't like how it turned out and left it until I saw it again a few days ago and I decided to give it another chance.

As you know, here I only upload illustrations of characters I have as BJD.

And I have good news. My art block is over! Very soon I'll upload a new illustration for a contest on deviantART and the "100 Creatures Challenge" that I purposed to do is giving me a lot of ideas that I want to draw ^^ Although you will only see them on my artblog, deviantART, pixiv y tumblr.

Primer dibujo del año. El boceto lo medio dibujé hace tiempo, no recuerdo si en 2013 o 2014. No me gustaba cómo había quedado y lo dejé aparcado hasta que lo volví a ver hace unos días y decidí darle otra oportunidad.

Como ya sabéis, aquí solo subo dibujos de los personajes que tengo como BJD. 

Y tengo buenas noticias. ¡El bloqueo artístico ha desaparecido! Muy pronto subiré una nueva ilustración para un concurso en deviantART y el reto de las "100 Criaturas" que me he propuesto hacer me está dando muchas ideas que quiero dibujar ^^ Aunque solamente los podréis ver en mi artblog, deviantART, pixiv y tumblr.

Danielle as Regina (OUAT) · Danielle como Regina (EUV)

This artwork is for the Halloween Art Jam that gilster252, my friend from deviantART,  has organized. This is for the "Cosplay" section, so here you can see my OC Danielle (half vampire, although she is on the side of the vampires) dressed as Regina, the Evin Queen, from the TV series "Once Upon A Time". I know Regina has black hair, but I think this kind of suits fits Danielle well and she's not as innocent as she seems or people might think. Do you like how it has turned out?

I know I haven't drawn for months, my pen tablet was damaged for months. When I had half of this artwork finished, I took it to fix because it was impossible to use it properly.

Este dibujo es para el Halloween Art Jam que ha organizado mi amigo de deviantART gilster252. Éste es para la sección "Cosplay", así que aquí podéis ver a mi OC Danielle (mitad vampiro, aunque está en el lado de los vampiros) vestida como Regina, l Reina malvada, de la serie "Érase Una Vez". Sé que Regina tiene el pelo negro, pero creo que este tipo de trajes le quedan bien a Danielle y no es tan inocente como parece o la gente pueda pensar. ¿Os gusta el resultado?

Sé que no he dibujado desde hace meses, mi tableta no funcionaba bien desde hacía un tiempo. A mitad de este dibujo la llevé a reparar porque ya era imposible usarla en condiciones.

Penguin parade · Desfile de pingüinos

I had this idea in mind for weeks and it's finally done! Well, actually I uploaded on my artworks blog a pair weeks ago.

In this artwork I've drawn Hiroki, my DOD - DOC Homme Kirill, the MSD that I have for a year. His favourite animals are penguins and that's why he's walking with them.

I have to keep forcing myself at drawing animals, lol.

I have used some photo references to draw the Adélie penguins.

Ésta idea rondaba por mi cabeza durante semanas y por fin está terminado. Bueno, en realidad lo subí en mi blog artístico hace un par de semanas largas.

En esta ilustración he dibujado a Hiroki, mi DOD - DOC Homme Kirill, el MSD que tengo desde hace un año. Su animal favorito es el pingüino y por eso está paseando con ellos.

Tengo que obligarme a seguir dibujando animales XD

He usado fotos de referencia de pingüinos de Adelia para dibujarlos.

Por cierto, actualmente tengo una encuesta en mi blog artístico y me gustaría que os pasaseis por allí y votéis para dar vuestra opinión. Commission - Sweet Angel Kawaii (2014)

Ceres

My first commission!

My friends from the "Sweet~Angel~Kawaii" shop asked me if I could make their banner and mascot for their online shops, so I told them it was OK. I liked their concept and it was very nice to work in an as beautiful character as this one ^^

In the first image (the original copy has a transparent background) you can see the banner with the logo for their online shops and business cards with Ceres, the mascot, . In the next image you can see Ceres without the logo. The "Sweet~Angel~Kawaii" girls have told me that they're going to custom one of their BJDs like this beautiful little angel.

¡Mi primer encargo!

Mis amigas de "Sweet~Angel~Kawaii" me preguntaron si podía hacerles el banner y la mascota para sus tiendas online, así que les dije que sí. Me gustó su concepto y fue muy agradable trabajar en un personaje tan bonito.

En la imagen de arriba (la copia original tiene el fondo transparente) podéis ver el banner con el logo para sus tiendas online y tarjetas de visita con Ceres, la mascota. En la imagen de debajo podéis ver a Ceres sin el logo. Las chicas de "Sweet~Angel~Kawaii" me han dicho que van a customizar a una de sus BJDs como a esta preciosa angelita.
