Surprise! This has been a surprise even for me! Yesterday I got a new tenant. I tell you.
Do you remember that in August last year I changed the body to Toshi for another one that would fit better with the character? Well, I didn't sold the old body, or even put it on sale, so I kept it in the box. From the first moment I wondered what to do with the poor body as I didn'tt want to sell it, I spent money when I bought the full doll and didn't like the idea of sell it for a miserable price (sounds like a slacker, but I give much value to things) apart from I like his sculpture and was of Toshi's first body, my first BJD, and in a way, the body is special to me despite it has simple joints. So I meditated, I talked to my mother and both came to the conclusion that it was a shame to have it kept untouched and finally I decided to buy a cheap head I liked. The body is more than paid and may share some clothes and shoes with Toshi perfectly, but not all because Shun, that's how it's called the newcomer, will have a completely different style to the rest of our BJD's.
Despite being looking at many molds, I liked none of them until I found the AOD Hao. This time I ordered through dealer and everything was perfect, it has come in less than a month.
Shun is the older brother of Danielle. Yes, Shun is a Japanese name, remember that Danielle is the daughter of a Japanese woman and an American man (of Irish roots) and therefore, so is his brother, though he has most noticeable Asian traits than his sister and they don't seem siblings (well, their upper lip are very similar) XD So I have to make some slight changes to the story of these siblings.
Actually, I don't regret to have taken this decision and the mold is much more beautiful in person than in the official photos, is perfect for what I want and I'm mad for him. Don't worry Toshi, you're still my darling, lol.
And then, photos of the box opening and the newcomer, with provisional eyes and wig no fakeup. Let's see if I can make his face-up this weekend. Hope you like our new tenant!

¡Sorpresa! ¡Esto ha sido una sorpresa incluso para mí! Ayer me llegó un nuevo inquilino. Os cuento.
¿Os acordáis que en Agosto del año pasado a Toshi le cambié el cuerpo por otro que encajase mejor con el
personaje? Bueno, pues el antiguo cuerpo no lo vendí, ni tan siquiera lo puse a la venta, así que lo guardé en la caja. Desde el primer momento me pregunté qué
hacer con el pobre cuerpo porque no quería venderlo, me gasté dinero cuando compré el muñeco
completo y no me gustaba la idea de malvenderlo (suena a
rácana, pero le doy mucho valor a las cosas), aparte de que me gusta su escultura y fue el primer cuerpo de Toshi, mi primer BJD, y en cierto modo, el cuerpo es especial para mí a pesar de tener articulaciones simples. Así que lo medité, lo hablé con mi madre y ambas llegamos a la conclusión de que era una pena tenerlo guardado sin tocar y finalmente decidí comprar una cabeza barata que me gustase, total el cuerpo está más que pagado y podrá compartir algo de ropa y zapatos con Toshi perfectamente, aunque no toda porque Shun, que así se llama el recién llegado, va a tener un estilo completamente diferente al resto de nuestros BJD's.
A pesar de estar mirando muchos moldes, ninguno me gustaba hasta que di con el Hao de AOD. Esta vez pedí a través de dealer y todo fue perfecto, ha llegado en menos de un mes.
Shun es el hermano mayor de Danielle.
Sí, Shun es un nombre japonés, recordad que Danielle es hija de una mujer japonesa y un hombre norteamericano (de raíces irlandesas) y por lo
tanto, su hermano también lo es, aunque a él se le notan más los rasgos
asiáticos y no parecen ni hermanos (bueno, la parte superior del labio la tienen muy parecida) XD Así que tendré que hacer unos ligeros cambios en la historia de estos hermanos.
La verdad, no me arrepiento de haber tomado esta decisión y el molde es muchísimo más bonito en persona que en las fotos oficiales, es perfecto para lo que busco y me tiene loca perdida. No te preocupes Toshi, sigues siendo mi niño mimado, lol.
