22-06-2014 - Doll meeting at Palau Sant Jordi (Part 3) · Quedada en Palau Sant Jordi (Parte 3)

As you know from my previous post, on Sunday 22nd June I went to a doll meetup at Palau Sant Jordi that was organized via the Spanish forum BJDoll. Up to now you have seen photos I took of other dolls, so finally time to show you the photos I took of Toshi, the doll I took, either alone or accompanied by a new friend, Tôya, has arrived.

Tôya belongs to my friend Nadia (a.k.a. Sakura), it's a Chrom from Soom with human body. The mold is very beautiful and I like him because he's so big. Is it too obvious that I like SD boys? But Toshi is a sourpuss and they didn't get along, so between distancing between the boys and Nadia doesn't get along with SD size yet, she decided to keep it and I only took the photos you're about to see:

Como ya sabéis por mis anteriores entradas, el domingo 22 de Junio fui a una quedada en el Palau Sant Jordi que se organizó a través del foro BJDoll. Hasta ahora habéis visto las fotos que hice a varios muñecos que llevaron, así que por fin ha llegado el momento de enseñaros las fotos que le hice a Toshi, el muñeco que me llevé, tanto solo como acompañado por un nuevo amigo, Tôya.

Tôya pertenece a mi amiga Nadia (a.k.a. Sakura), es un Chrom de Soom con cuerpo humano. El molde es precioso y me encanta por lo grande que es. ¿Se me nota mucho que me gustan los chicos SD? Pero Toshi es un rancio y no hicieron buenas migas, así que entre el distanciamiento entre los chicos y que Nadia aún no se entiende muy bien con los SD, decidió guardarlo y solo le hice las fotos que vais a ver:

En las fotos que le hice a Toshi en solitario parecía que se encontraba más cómodo:

It seems that he only agree to take photos alone, with his partner and/or with his very few friends I don't even know how they tolerate him XD. And I really like the movement his wig. He's a character who has always had those electrocuted hair in my drawings and although the colour isn't exactly what it should be at least it's blue, I like its form, touch (is tremendously soft) and the movement that air gives it because it gives it a realism that I love (despite he has been nicknamed "Super Saiyan")

The experience in this meetup was good although I got home red like a prawn (I hate summer, heat, sun and getting red like a prawn. Luckily it lasted a very few days) and it was too crowded for my taste (I prefer small groups of 8 people maximum, and are many XD). Still, my friends and I talked to some people and  some even were amazed with me for several reasons I will explain in another post to not overfill this one you're reading now. I could only advance that my way to see and living this hobby is totally different to the way other hobbyist use to do it. And it happened to us a somewhat surreal experience that I will explain shortly too!

Parece que solamente acepta hacerse fotos solo, con su pareja y/o con sus contados amigos que no sé ni cómo le aguantan XD. Y me gusta mucho el movimiento de su peluca. Es un personaje que siempre ha tenido esos pelos electrocutados en mis dibujos y aunque el color no es exactamente igual a lo que debería ser al menos es azul, me gusta mucho su forma, tacto (es tremendamente suave) y el movimiento que tiene con el aire ya que le da un realismo que me encanta (a pesar de que le hayan apodado "Super Saiyan").

La experiencia de esta quedada fue buena a pesar de que llegué a casa como una gamba (odio el verano, el calor, el sol y ponerme como una gamba. Suerte que se me quitó en pocos días) y fue demasiada gente para mi gusto (prefiero los grupos reducidos de 8 personas máximo y ya me parecen muchas XD). Aún así, mis amigas y yo hablamos con algunas personas y hubo gente que incluso alucinó conmigo por varios motivos que explicaré en otra entrada para no saturar esta que estáis leyendo. Solo os puedo adelantar que mi forma de ver y vivir el hobby no tiene nada que ver con la forma en la que suelen hacerlo los demás aficionados. ¡Y también nos ocurrió una experiencia un tanto surrealista que también explicaré en breve!
