I will take advantage of an entry I wanted to write under the title in parentheses that fits perfectly with the theme of the challenge, "The best of the year".
I could talk about the Nendoroids I most expected to have in my hands or that have been announced, but I'm going to talk about something different and that I'm very excited about.
The company that manufacturates Nendoroids, Good Smile Company, is making a big celebration for its 1000 Nendoroids. For several months now all collectors can participate in a monthly contest in which they can earn figures. Aprovecharé una entrada que quería escribir bajo el título entre paréntesis que encaja perfectamente con el tema del reto.
Podría hablar sobre los Nendoroids que más esperaba tener en mis manos o que han sido anunciados, pero os voy a hablar de algo diferente y que me hace mucha ilusión.
La compañía Good Smile Company, fabricante de los Nendoroid, está celebrando sus 1000 Nendoroids por todo lo alto. Desde hace unos meses todos los coleccionistas pueden participar en un concurso mensual en el que pueden ganar figuras. What was my surprise when in September I received a DM from the Good Smile Company on Instagram to notify me that my photograph had been one of the 5 chosen of the month of August.
Cuál fue mi sorpresa cuando en septiembre recibí en Instagram un DM de Good Smile Company para notificarme que mi fotografía había sido una de las 5 elegidas del mes de agosto.
I immediately gave them my address and on October 22nd I received a HUGE, heavy box from Good Smile Company.
Enseguida les di mi dirección y el 22 de octubre recibí una caja pesada y ENORME de Good Smile Company.
It didn't seem normal that there were only two Nendoroid boxes inside for the weight and the size of the parcel, so when I opened the box, imagine my surprise when I first come across this:
No me pareció normal que dentro solo hubiesen metidas dos cajas de Nendorid por el peso y el tamaño del paquete, así que cuando abrí la caja imaginaos mi sorpresa cuando me encuentro primero con esto:
That huge white box really surprised me as it was clearly not a Nendoroid. So you can come up with an idea when I take out the two boxes and I come across this:
Esa caja blanca y enorme me descolocó ya que claramente no era una Nendoroid. Así que ya os podéis hacer una idea cuando saco las dos cajas y me encuentro con esto:

I was in shock for quite some time as I didn't expect a scale figure at all. I looked for information about the price and it's a pretty expensive figure (currently it costs around €150 / $168), so I don't know why they sent me her, and much less when on the page they say that two Nendoroids are send to every winner. Although I don't know the character and I don't collect scale figures, the figure is beautiful, it has a thousand details that I will show in a review and of course I'm glad to have it, it's something that I have won by a simple photograph and it has been the first time I win something of so much value in a contest.
As for the Nendoroid, I neither know the character but I was very happy to see him because when I saw photos of this Nendoroid a few months ago I liked his design. I didn't buy it because I don't usually buy figures of characters that I don't know, so they have hit the nail on the head.
And as this is going to be the last entry of the year, I take the opportunity to wish you all a happy New Year's Eve and a better year 2020.

Estuve en estado de shock bastante tiempo ya que no me esperaba en absoluto una figura a escala. Me informé sobre el precio y es una figura bastante cara (actualmente pasa los 150€), así que no sé porqué me la han enviado y aún menos cuando en la página pone que envían dos Nendoroids a cada ganador. A pesar de que no conozco al personaje y no colecciono figuras a escala, la figura es preciosa, tiene mil detalles que ya enseñaré en una reseña y por supuesto que me hace ilusión tenerla, es algo que he ganado por una simple fotografía y ha sido la primera vez que gano algo de tanto valor en un concurso.
En cuanto al Nendoroid, tampoco conozco al personaje pero me hizo mucha gracia verlo ya que cuando vi fotos de este nendoroid hace unos meses me gustó su diseño. No lo compré porque no suelo comprar figuras de personajes que no conozco, así que han dado en el clavo.
Y como esta va a ser la última entrada del año, ya aprovecho para desearos a todos que paséis una feliz Nochevieja y mejor año 2020.

En cuanto al Nendoroid, tampoco conozco al personaje pero me hizo mucha gracia verlo ya que cuando vi fotos de este nendoroid hace unos meses me gustó su diseño. No lo compré porque no suelo comprar figuras de personajes que no conozco, así que han dado en el clavo.
Y como esta va a ser la última entrada del año, ya aprovecho para desearos a todos que paséis una feliz Nochevieja y mejor año 2020.
