Today I'm going to show you our Monster High collection to date. I have to thank Dani Screams for taking the time to create these templates which you can get here. The list of the templates is a bit outdated and doesn't include "Create A Monster" dolls (I don't have any).
I will also talk about the extortionate price these dolls have.

Hoy os voy a mostrar la lista de nuestra colección "Monster High" hasta la fecha. Tengo que darle las gracias a Dani Screams por haberse tomado el tiempo para crear estas plantillas que podéis conseguir aquí. La lista de las plantillas está un poco desactualizada y no incluye los "Create A Monster" (no tengo ninguno).
También hablaré un poco por encima sobre el precio tan abusivo que tienen estos muñecos.

➡ In fact we don't care from which collection Holt Hyde and Gill Webber are (I'm on the lookout of the "Manster" pack, although that means that we'd have two Deuce Gorgon, that we wouldn't sell). As for Clawd Wolf, the one from the collection "Sweet 1600" is our favourite because he has long hair, we don't like the basic one. I have got used to the idea that I will never get Manny Taur because we wouldn't pay +50€ for a simple plastic doll, apart that we wouldn't purchase the pack because its price is high (and we don't like Iris Clos, although we could sell her, of course).
➡ Cat twins and Jinafire are beautiful, but we don't like them enough to have them. We like Avea Trotter and Sirena Von Boo, but we wouldn't know what to do with them.
➡ It's what we like most, clothing XD We decided to not repeat characters because of their different outfit and hairstyles, so they're models we like but we're not going to buy. As for the dolls I have marked as we like their outfit, are characters that we don't like as much as to have them. If we ever find these clothing in the second hand market at a reasonable price, we would maybe buy some other outfit.
I must add that there's something I like in Casta Fierce: her broom-micro stand! The doll itself doesn't call our attention and we think her outfit is hideous, so...

Now I'll tell you what I think about so high and extortionate price of these dolls.Anger. That's what we feel everytime we look for the male dolls we want to purchase and we see they're sold for +30€, excluding shipping fees when talking about shopping online (those which are sold for +200€ has no name). Okay, I understand that they're dolls hard to get, but damn, when they were on sale didn't cost 40, 50, 90 or +100€. We refuse to be ripped off that way because from our point of view it is, and therefore, we don't buy them and we're left with the desire to have them. We just refuse that a clever one will make us pay more money than necessary just because these dolls are highly sought and/or make us pay more for shipping than for the doll itself in many cases (to see a doll sold for 15€ and shipping for 32€ it's an abuse in my point of view. Even I have seen in national shipments ask +18€ when I know perfectly well that it could be sent for 5€ or less. Really there are so silly people who is left cheat as easily?). I know time adds value this kind of toys, but have just passed, months? A year? Maybe three since their departure to the sale? Is not enough time to give them that price. If this continues this way, within 10 years these people will ask thousands of euros for a "Monster High" doll -ironic mode on-. If I ever find any of these male dolls at a fair price, either in stores or online (see they haven't inflated the price and/or on online shopping, shipping fee isn't abusive to give them benefit), then we will purchase them, meanwhile, they are going to be left there and we give thanks of having the ones we have having paid less than 30€ for each one of them (shipping included with those which have been purchased online, including Invisi Billy and Neighthan Rot, which came from the UK)..
Pricewise of these kind of dolls in general, I think is high. Their quality is not as good as to pay the money they cost and we all know that they could be sold, whether physical or online shops, for 10€ without losing benefits. For these reasons I put up a budget with these dolls because once I paid 35€ for a MH and never again.

➡ En realidad nos da igual la colección a la que pertenezcan tanto Holt Hyde como Gill Webber (estoy al acecho del pack "Manster", aunque eso signifique que tengamos repetido a Deuce Gorgon, al que no venderíamos). En cuanto a Clawd Wolf, el de la colección "Sweet 1600" es nuestro favorito al tener pelo largo, el básico no nos gusta. Con Manny Taur me he hecho a la idea que jamás lo tendremos ya que no pensamos pagar 50€ o más por un simple muñeco de plástico, aparte de que no nos compraríamos el pack por tener un precio elevado (Iris Clos no nos gusta nada, aunque podríamos venderla, eso sí).
➡ Las gatitas gemelas y Jinafire son bonitas, pero no nos llaman lo suficiente como para tenerlas. Avea Trotter y Sirena Von Boo nos gustan, pero no sabríamos qué hacer con ellas.
➡ Es lo que más nos gusta, la ropa XD Ya decidimos no repetir personajes por su ropa y peinados diferentes, así que son modelos que nos gusta pero no vamos a comprar. En cuanto a las muñecas que no tenemos pero he marcado como que nos gusta su ropa, son personajes que no nos llaman la atención como para tenerlas. Si encontramos esa ropa de 2ª mano a precio razonable, podría ser que comprásemos algún que otro conjunto.
También tengo que añadir que hay algo de Casta Fierce que me gusta: ¡su escoba-pie para micrófono! La muñeca en sí no nos llama la atención y su ropa nos parece horrible, así que...

Ahora os contaré lo que pienso sobre los precios tan elevados y abusivos de estas muñecas.Rabia. Eso es lo que sentimos cada vez que buscamos a los chicos que queremos comprar y vemos que los venden por más de 30€ sin incluir los gastos de envío cuando se trata de compras online (ya el que los vendan por +200€ no tiene ni nombre). Vale, comprendo que son muñecos difíciles de conseguir, pero leñe, cuando se pusieron a la venta no costaban 40, 50, 90 o +100€. Nos negamos a ser estafadas de esa manera porque bajo nuestro punto de vista es así, y por lo tanto, no los compramos y nos quedamos con las ganas de tenerlos. Simplemente no nos da la gana de que un avispado quiera sacarnos más dinero de la cuenta por ser muñecos muy buscados y/o nos haga pagar más por los gastos de envío que por el muñeco en sí en muchos casos (eso de ver a un muñeco a la venta por 15€ y gastos de envío por 32€ me parece un abuso. Incluso he visto que en envíos nacionales te piden +18€ cuando sé perfectamente que podría enviarse por 5€ o menos. ¿En serio hay gente tan tonta que se deja timar de esa manera?). Sé que el tiempo revaloriza este tipo de juguetes, pero qué han pasado, ¿meses? ¿Un año? ¿Quizá tres años de su salida a la venta? No es suficiente tiempo para ponerles ese precio. Como sigan así, dentro de 10 años pedirán miles de euros por una muñeca "Monster High" -modo irónico on-. Si alguna vez encuentro a alguno de los chicos que buscamos a un precio razonable, ya sea en tiendas o por Internet (véase que no han inflado el precio ni abusan de los gastos de envío para lucrarse con ello en las compras online), entonces los compraremos, mientras tanto, ahí se van a quedar y ya damos gracias de tener los que tenemos habiendo pagado menos de 30€ por cada uno de ellos (gastos de envío incluidos con los que hemos comprado por Internet, incluyendo a Invisi Billy y Neighthan Rot, que vinieron desde Reino Unido).
En cuanto al precio de este tipo de muñecas en general, me parece elevado. La calidad de las mismas no es tan buena como para pagar ese dinero y todos sabemos que podrían venderlas en las tiendas, ya sean físicas u online, perfectamente por 10€ sin perder beneficios. Por estos motivos me puse un presupuesto máximo con estas muñecas ya que una vez pagué 35€ por una MH y nunca más.

Ya sabes que a mí las MH ni fu ni fa, pero al estar intentando hacer una (pequeñísima) colección de Pure Neemos entiendo prefectamente tu rabia y tu sorpresa ante semejantes precios. Ya en mi caso, por ponerte un ejemplo, he visto PN por más de 300€ cuando en pre-order te cuestan unos 80. No es excusa que sea de una edición determinada (con tal vestido, tal color de pelo, etc.) y que te la perdiste en su momento, porque esas muñecas vuelven a ser re-editadas tarde o temprano y mejoradas. Incluso la ropa; he visto piezas a 20€ más que su valor en tienda. Y estamos hablando de ropita escala 1:6...
ResponderEliminarAsí que, contestando a tus preguntas, son precios abusivos y no estoy dispuesta a pagar lo que sea por una muñeca, por mucho que quiera tenerla. No merece la pena para nada.
¿Qué hacer entonces? En mi caso esperar a las re-ediciones y back-orders. En el vuestro, coleccionistas de MH, esperar a las ofertas de las grandes superficies, que son bastante buenas o a encontrar un vendedor con el que merezca la pena hacer negocios. Aunque nos pese, siempre habrá vendedores listillos que se aprovechen de l@s novat@s.

Es increíble la de aprovechamiento económico que hay en el coleccionismo de muñecas y figuras. Lo malo es que mientras haya gente que pague lo que los espabilados pidan, esto no acabará nunca. Siempre ha habido y habrá gente para todo.
EliminarSobre las muñecas MH, en cuanto se agotan en las tiendas, se acabó, no hay más a no ser que vuelvan a sacar re-ediciones en las que en algunos casos les faltan accesorios o tiras de la segunda mano. A nuestro favor, decir que al menos podemos conseguir auténticas gangas si las muñecas que quieres las rebajan en las grandes superficies.
