We are almost halfway through July and I haven't shared my photos from June yet. I'm on a streak where I have personal problems and I don't have time to write on the blog. Although you will see that there are quite a few photos, some of them were taken a while ago and they haven't see the light until now.

A few days ago I published one of the photos for LGTBI+ Pride Day, don't forget to visit that entry if you haven't done it yer.

Estamos casi a mitad de julio y aún no he compartido mis fotos de junio. Estoy en una temporada en la que tengo problemas personales y no tengo tiempo de escribir en el blog. Aunque veréis que son bastantes fotos, algunas de ellas las hice hace un tiempo y no vieron la luz hasta este momento. 

Hace unos días que ya publiqué una de las fotos por el Día del Orgullo LGTBI+, no os olvidéis de visitar esa entrada si aún no lo habéis hecho. 

Winter Soldier · Soldado de Invierno [James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes] (MARVEL)

This figure is my first Marvel Legends, from Hasbro. I've been wanting to have a 1/12 Winter Soldier action figure for years, but I couldn't find one that I liked apart from the Nendoroids, which I have. I bought some Bandai S.H. Figuarts of other Marvel characters, but these figures have been raised in price exorbitantly and I didn't buy the figure of the Winter Soldier with the uniform of the movie "Avengers - Infinity War". They also announced another version with the uniform of the figure I have photographed, but it hasn't been released. So I thought that I had to look for a cheaper alternative and after thinking about it a lot, I decided to try the Marvel Legends line. In February I saw that this figure of the Winter Soldier was on pre-order in a national store and I thought that it could be my first figure in this line and if I liked it, I could buy other characters. I can tell you that the figure is great and it comes with two heads, one with a face mask and one unmasked.

The idea of the photo had been in my mind for years, it's the recreation of one of the posters of the movie "Captain America - The Winter Soldier". It was impossible to find the background, I had to remove the original Winter Soldier with Photoshop to be able to put the photo of my figure. And his head also has digital edition, like the eye shadow and some hairs that I added to make it have more movement. I really like the end result.

Esta figura es mi primera Marvel Legends, de Hasbro. Hace años que quería tener una figura articulada 1/12 del Soldado de Invierno pero no terminaba de encontrar una que me gustase aparte de los Nendoroids, los cuales tengo. Compré algunas S.H. Figuarts de Bandai de otros personajes Marvel, pero a estas figuras les han subido el precio de forma desorbitada y no compré la figura del Soldado de Invierno con el uniforme de la película "Vengadores - Infinity War". También anunciaron otra versión con el uniforme de la figura que he fotografiado, pero no salió a la venta. Entonces pensé en que tenía que buscar alguna alternativa más barata y después de pensármelo mucho, me decidí a probar con las Marvel Legends. En febrero vi que esta figura del Soldado de Invierno estaba en pre-venta en una tienda nacional y pensé en que podría ser mi primera figura de esta línea y si me gustaba, podría comprar otros personajes. Os puedo decir que la figura es genial y viene con dos cabezas, una con máscara facial y otra sin ella. 

La idea de la foto la tenía en mente desde hacía años, es la recreación de uno de los pósters de la película "Capitán América - El Soldado de Invierno". Fue imposible encontrar el fondo, tuve que eliminar con Photoshop al Soldado de Invierno original para poder poner la foto de mi figura. Y la cabeza también tiene retoques digitales, como la sombra de ojos y unos pelos que le añadí para que tuviera más movimiento. Me gusta mucho el resultado final.

I also made the version with the Nendoroid. It was much more complicated to make this photomontage due to the proportions of the figure.

This nendo comes in a box next to the version of the Winter Soldier from the "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" series. I saw the series a few weeks ago and now I like the character even more than before. I hope he continues to appear in future MCU movies and series.

También hice la versión con el Nendoroid. Fue bastante más complicado hacer este fotomontaje por las proporciones de la figura.

Este nendo viene en una caja junto a la versión del Soldado de Invierno de la serie "Falcon y el Soldado de Invierno". Vi la serie hace unas semanas y el personaje ahora me gusta incluso más que antes. Espero que siga apareciendo en próximas películas y series del MCU.

I took these photos at El Prat beach in January. I usually walk from home to the beach, which is around 5km away and there is no bus to the beach outside of the summer season. In summer I don't go because it's too hot and there are too many people. And the day I get to the beach walking in summer, it's at sunset and there's hardly any light to take photos of my figures. That day it was very windy and the sand was so wet that I had a hard time taking these photos. And as it was the first time I took a Nendoroid to the beach, I took only the arm of the base but not the square base, so the figure didn't stand up well even if I sank its feet in the sand to make it hold the pose. For the next time I will bring everything and bury the base with sand so that the figure is more stable and everything will be easier.

Estas fotos las hice en la playa del Prat en enero. Suelo caminar desde casa hasta la playa, que está a alrededor 5km de distancia y no hay ningún autobús que lleve a la playa fuera de la temporada de verano. En verano no voy porque hace demasiada calor y hay demasiada gente. Y el día que llego hasta la playa andando en verano, es al atardecer y apenas hay luz para fotografiar a mis figuras. Ese día hacía mucho viento y la arena estaba tan húmeda que me costó horrores hacer estas fotos. Y como era la primera vez que me llevé un Nendoroid a la playa, me llevé sólo el brazo de la peana pero no la base cuadrada, así que la figura no se sostenía bien aunque le hundiese los pies en la arena para que mantuviese la pose. Para la próxima vez me lo llevaré todo y enterraré la base con arena para que la figura esté más estable y sea todo más fácil.

June 5th was Draco's birthday and it was also World Environment Day. I ended up doing an all in one photo, with Draco celebrating the day in a forest. He's not in the Forbidden Forest, he doesn't have the courage to enter alone.

El 5 de junio fue el cumpleaños de Draco y también fue el Día Mundial del Medioambiente. Terminé haciendo una foto todo en uno, con Draco celebrando del día en un bosque. No está en el Bosque Prohibido, no tiene el valor de entrar solo.

June 21 was Kaito and Anna's birthday. It was also World Music Day and the beginning of summer. I had no idea how to photograph them and finally decided to do something simple where the characters would celebrate their day along with the music theme and that's how I incorporated the musical notes. I tried to make the falling musical notes real, but after a few tries I didn't get the effect I wanted and ended up adding them digitally. The musical notes that are on the ground are real.

El 21 de junio fue el cumpleaños de Kaito y Anna. También era el Día Mundial de la Música y el comienzo del verano. No tenía ninguna idea de cómo fotografiarles y finalmente decidí hacer algo sencillo en el que los personajes celebrasen su día junto con el tema de la música y así fue como incorporé las notas musicales. Intenté que las notas musicales que caen fuesen reales, pero después de varios intentos no conseguí el efecto que quería y terminé añadiéndolas de forma digital. Las notas musicales que están en el suelo sí son de verdad.

And we end the post with this adorable little guy (even if he's meaner than a pain). On June 26, Day 626 or Stitch Day is celebrated. Stitch was known as "Experiment 626" before Lilo gave him the name we know him by, so it matches the date June 26 or 6/26. Yes, I know that it's a crime not to have taken the photo on the beach and instead I set up a makeshift beach on my desk with the computer screen. I've already said before that I don't go to the beach in summer and I haven't taken Stitch outside home yet.

For Thursday I'm going to publish an entry for International Non-Binary People's Day. I have dedicated a lot of time to it and I hope you will read it so that you know the subject a little better and how I discovered that I am a NB person.

Y terminamos la entrada con este pequeñajo tan adorable (aunque sea más malo que un dolor). El día 26 de junio se celebra el Día 626 o Día de Stitch. A Stitch se le conocía como "Experimento 626" antes de que Lilo le diese el nombre por el que le conocemos, así que coincide con la fecha Junio 26 o 6/26. Sí, sé que es un delito no haberle hecho la foto en la playa y en su lugar monté una playa improvisada en mi escritorio con la pantalla del ordenador. Ya he dicho antes que en verano no voy a la playa y a Stitch aún no me lo he llevado fuera de casa.

Para el jueves publicaré otra entrada por el Día Internacional de las Personas No Binarias. Le he dedicado mucho tiempo y espero que lo leáis para que conozcáis un poco mejor el tema y cómo descubrí que yo soy una persona enebe.
