Hello! Today I'm going to show you the two photos I posted on Instagram in May. Yes, only two photos. That's because I also published the fanarts of the German band Nachtblut, which you can see on my artworks blog. If you want to see them, here is the link to my blog: Sionnach's Artworks.
¡Hola! Hoy os voy a enseñar las dos fotos que publiqué en Instagram en mayo y las que publiqué en junio. Sí, solo dos fotos en mayo. On May 13, the grand finale of the Eurovision Song Contest was held. This year I took it with a vengeance because my favorite group, Lord of the Lost, represented Germany. This has been the first (and only) year that I have voted and I took this photo to immortalize that moment with Yusuke, Puu and Arale waiting to vote with a poster of the group on the wall.
In the end, Germany were in the last place, as usual, although that doesn't mean that no one voted for this country. The problem is in the voting system. From the jury we already know that it's all politics and you cannot take them seriously, so Germany only received 3 points divided between two countries.
As for televoting, they received another 15 points. In reality they were in a position 15-16 with the televote, but since only the 10 countries with the most votes in each country are counted, the votes of the countries that remain in a position lower than 10 then are not counted. For this reason, Germany was in last place, although for their fans, Losties, they were our winners.
I had a good time accompanying them on their Eurovision adventure through their posts and stories on Instagram and they really enjoyed the experience and have said that would participate again even if they knew they would be in last place. I also liked seeing Lord of the Lost's camaraderie and respect towards the rest of the contestants. They did acoustic covers that they posted on their social networks and Chris Harms, the vocalist, was very respectful and professional in a couple videos that can be found on YouTube where he gives his opinion on the participating songs. Honestly, if I like this band so much it's not just because of the music they make, it's because of how they are as people. By the way, I already have my ticket to see them live in March 2024 in Barcelona.
I have made the smartphones and the laptop. None of my nendoroids come with these accessories, so I had to make them. I have also made them a tablet and I have printed more posters to use in future photographs.

El 13 de mayo se celebró la gran de final del Festival de Eurovisión. Este año lo cogí con ganas porque mi grupo favorito, Lord of the Lost, representaron a Alemana. Este ha sido el primer (y único) año que he votado e hice esta foto para inmortalizar ese momento con Yusuke, Puu y Arale esperando para votar con un póster del grupo en la pared.
Al final Alemania quedó en último puesto, como siempre, aunque eso no significa que nadie votase por este país. El problema está en el sistema de votos. Por parte del jurado ya sabemos que es todo política y no te los puedes tomar en serio, así que Alemania tan sólo recibió 3 puntos repartidos entre dos países.
En cuanto al televoto, recibieron otros 15 puntos. En realidad quedaron en un puesto 15-16 con el televoto, pero como solamente se contabilizan los 10 países más votados en cada país, los votos de los países que quedan en un puesto menor de 10 no se contabilizan. Por ese motivo Alemania quedó el último lugar, aunque para sus fans, les Losties, fueron nuestros ganadores.
Me lo pasé bien acompañándoles en su aventura eurovisiva a través de sus posts he historias en Instagram y ellos disfrutaron mucho la experiencia e incluso volverían a participar aún si supieran que quedarían en el último puesto. También me gustó ver el compañerismo y respeto de Lord of the Lost hacia el resto de concursantes. Hicieron versiones en acústico que publicaron en sus redes sociales y Chris Harms, el vocalista, fue muy respetuoso y profesional en unos vídeos que se pueden encontrar en YouTube donde da su opinión sobre las canciones participantes. Sinceramente, si me gusta tanto este grupo no es sólo por la música que hacen, es por cómo son ellos como personas. Por cierto, ya tengo mi entrada para verles en concierto en marzo de 2024 en Barcelona.
Los teléfonos móviles y el ordenador portátil de la foto los he hecho yo. Ninguno de mis nendoroids viene con estos accesorios, así que me tocó hacerlos. También les he hecho una tablet y he imprimido más pósteres para usar en próximas fotografías.

I took this photograph in February and I don't know why I didn't publish it before. It was fun to take this photo, I was inspired by a scene from the last Jurassic World movie.

On June 5th was Draco's birthday. I almost forgot that it was his birthday that day, but I managed to take this photo of the spoiled kid on the same day.
El 5 de junio fue el cumpleaños de Draco. Casi se me olvidó de que ese día era su cumpleaños, pero conseguí hacerle esta foto al niño malcriado el mismo día.
Pennywise (IT)
I had planned this photo since before I had the figure, the problem was that I couldn't find a way to do the lighting. Finally I found the solution using the screen of two smartphones. I used a coloured image, I turned up the brightness to the maximum and in this way I got two different lights that I put on each side of the figure. It turned out better than I expected, even so, I hope to be able to get lights for this type of lighting in the future.
Esta foto la tenía planeada desde antes de tener la figura, el problema era que no encontraba la forma de hacer la iluminación. Finalmente encontré la solución utilizando la pantalla de dos teléfonos móviles. Utilicé una imagen de colores, subí el brillo al máximo y de esta manera conseguí dos luces diferentes que puse a cada lado de la figura. Quedó mejor de lo que esperaba, aún así, espero poder conseguir en un futuro luces para este tipo de iluminación.

I took these photographs in March and I couldn't find the time to edit them.
I experimented with lighting again, this time I used some colored sheets. I'm testing different things with homemade materials.

On June 26 is Stitch Day, so I took the opportunity to photograph him. Although I haardly show it, he's one of my favourite nendos, he's completely adorable.

Si me sigues desde hace poco tiempo quizá no sabes que soy una persona no binaria y me identifico como agénero. Y añado que también soy arroace: persona arromántica y asexual.
Si estás dentro de mi grupo de amistades o me sigues desde hace tiempo, ya sabes que reivindico los derechos de las personas LGTBIQA+ y seguiré haciéndolo mientras sea necesario. Somos personas válidas y respetables. No estamos rotas, no tenemos falta de cariño ni somos bichos raros. No pido que lo entiendas, pero sí que lo respetes.
A todas esas personas aliadas, mil gracias por vuestro apoyo 🏳️🌈❤️🏳️⚧️

Before concluding with this entry, I inform you that in less than three months I'm moving and there's no going back. For this reason the blog has been so neglected for a while, I barely have time to write on it and I don't have much time to take photos and edit them either. Whenever I can, I try to take photos, so if I can, I'll take photos to reserve them just in case. I don't know how long it's going to take me.
I have a fairly high level of stress and anxiety for different reasons, as you already know, one is because of the noise that people make on the terraces of the bar and the cafeteria that are a few meters from my balcony. Children also come to play with balls and they shout and hit the balls against the walls and business premises blinds since it's a pedestrian street. It's like having all that fuss inside the apartment. And to top it all off, we have a place just below where there's a petanque club where the members are dedicated to shouting like brainless and they can even be heard inside my room with the window and door closed. This doesn't help my misophonia or my anxiety. And to all this, we must add the stink that comes from the bar and gets inside the apartment when we have the balcony door open. It smells like stale frying and my stomach turns, sometimes I almost gag.
You will tell me to report it. I have done it, I have gone to all the places where these noise problems have to be reported and they have not paid attention to me. The city council directly ignores the problem and they have not even given me a solution, they have simply told me to call the police when the shouting is unbearable and to have a tolerance for noise. That's it. I feel like catering is one of society's sacred cows and forgive me for the my words, but people are just plain rude, selfish assholes as they could notice they're annoying with their fucking yelling. It's not necessary to scream like animals to speak. I only hope to have more peace of mind in the apartment to which I move and forgive me for the long text.

Antes de concluir con esta entrada, os informo de que en menos de tres meses me mudo y ya no hay marcha atrás. Por este motivo tengo el blog tan abandonado desde hace un tiempo, apenas tengo tiempo para escribir en él y tampoco tengo mucho tiempo para hacer fotos y editarlas. Siempre que puedo intento hacer alguna foto, así que si puedo, iré haciendo fotos para dejarlas de reserva por si acaso. No sé cuánto tiempo me va a llevar.
Tengo un nivel de estrés y ansiedad bastante alto por distintos motivos, como ya sabéis, uno es por el ruido que hace la gente en las terrazas del bar y la cafetería que están a escasos metros de mi balcón. También vienen niños a jugar con la pelota y se dedican a gritar y dar balonazos contra las paredes y persianas comerciales ya que es una calle peatonal. Es como tener todo ese jaleo dentro de casa. Y para rematar, tenemos justo debajo un local donde hay un club de petanca donde los socios se dedican a gritar como descerebrados y se escuchan incluso dentro de mi habitación con ventana y puerta cerrada. Esto no me ayuda con la misofonía ni con mi ansiedad. Y a todo esto, hay que sumarle el pestazo que viene del bar y se mete dentro de casa cuando tenemos la puerta del balcón abierta. Es olor a fritura rancia y se me revuelve el estómago, a veces casi tengo náuseas.
Me diréis que lo denuncie. Lo he hecho, he ido a todos los sitios donde se tienen que denunciar estos problemas de ruido y no me han hecho caso. El ayuntamiento directamente se desentiende del problema y ni tan siquiera me han dado una solución, simplemente me han dicho que llame a la policía cuando el griterío sea insoportable y que tenga tolerancia al ruido. Tal cuál. Me siento como si la restauración fuera una de las vacas sagradas de la sociedad y perdonadme por mis palabras, pero la gente es simplemente gilipollas, maleducada y egoísta ya que podrían darse cuenta de que molestan con su jodido griterío. No es necesario gritar como animales para hablar. Sólo espero tener más tranquilidad en el piso al que me mude y perdonadme por el tocho.

¡Hola Sion! Las fotos, como siempre, geniales. Me maravilla que los accesorios de la primera los hayas hecho tú, ¡están perfectos! Y coincido contigo sobre Eurovisión, los criterios de voto suelen ser bastante cuestionables y los grupos de rock y metal quedan en un plano muy secundario a la hora de las puntuaciones...

Ya sabemos que Eurovisión no hay que tomárselo en serio, lo curioso que un par de grupos rock y metal han conseguido ganar el concurso otros años.
Intento mentalizarme de que ya quedan un par de meses para coger las maletas e irme a otro piso. Espero estar mejor allí. Y es muy frustrante recopilar información de cómo denunciar este tipo de problemas y ver que a la hora de la verdad nada funciona y se lavan las manos.

EliminarPues sí, ha sido todo un redescubrimiento por la parte no binaria, lo demás ya lo sospechaba y lo confirmé 😂 La verdad es que estas cosas no deberían influenciar en nada, pero por desgracia aún hay bastante gente con la mente cerradísima que nos ve como a personas enfermas o con carencias y encima nos ve como a una amenaza 🤨
Gracias, es bastante difícil vivir así. Son muchos años aguantando el griterío de gente incívica y lo peor es que no nos dejen ni denunciar aunque la ley nos de la razón. El piso en el que voy a vivir parece más tranquilo, así que ya iré contando por aquí cómo me va cuando lleve unos días viviendo en él.
