Good Morning

Last year we bought pyjamas for Maiko and Toshi. I was always like “I have to take photos of them wearing them”, but never took that photo shot... Finally, here it is! It’s not really the idea I had and my mother even “forced” me to show Daisuke and Aiko here; they didn’t have to be shown at all XD 

Though in the photos they look like a family,  they’re not and I don't like they look like that T_T In fact, they don’t live together in the original story (well, Toshi and Daisuke do)... That’s why I say this photo shot is totally different to the one I had in my mind. Maybe I’ll take in future another photo shoot with the real ideas I had.

In these photos, Toshi reveals it costs him time to wake up and Daisuke is a pain in the neck. Daisuke doesn’t have a wig and neither his face-up done yet. But soon he will have them!

Buenos días

El año pasado les compramos unos pijamas a Maiko y Toshi. Siempre me decía "Les tengo que hacer una sesión con ellos puestos", pero nunca hice esa sesión... ¡Y finalmente está aquí! Aunque no es ni mucho menos la idea que tenía porque mi madre me "obligó" a meter a Daisuke y a Aiko, que no tenían que aparecer para nada XD

Aunque en las fotos parezca que son una familia, no lo son y no me hace gracia que den esa apariencia T_T De echo, ni tan siquiera viven juntos en la historia original (solamente Daisuke y Toshi). Por eso mismo digo que la sesión que tenía en mente era completamente diferente a esta. Quizás en un futuro vuelva a hacer otra sesión en la que sí utilice las ideas que tenía.

En estas fotos comprobamos que a Toshi le cuesta levantarse y Daisuke es un pelmazo. Daisuke no tiene aún peluca ni maquillaje. ¡Pronto los tendrá!

Parecen una familia... ¬¬

New look

I've changed the template of this blog to make it look mysterious and darker. Why? The name of this blog, "genwaku" 幻惑 (げんわく), is a Japanese word which means "bewitchment". Also, all our dolls have something related to witches, demons or spirits. The final look it's not finished yet, but the biggest and most important parts are already done.

Nuevo diseño

He cambiado el diseño del blog para hacerlo más misterioso y oscuro. ¿Por qué? El nombre de este blog, "genwaku" 幻惑 (げんわく, es una palabra japonesa que significa "embrujo", "brujería". Todos nuestros muñecos tienen algo relacionado con brujas, demonios o espíritus. Aún no está terminado, pero lo más importante ya está hecho.

Daisuke has clothes

Finally I’ve gotten clothes for Daisuke!! I didn’t need to spend much money to get these two outfits and I can coordinate them, as you can see in the 3^rd photograph. The bad part is that I had to buy the dolls which wear these clothes ¬¬ Fortunately they were pretty cheap. I’d wish to find a cheap box with clothes for 14-16cm tall boy dolls at any toy store. No matter how much I look for, never find any T.T

¡Al final he encontrado ropa para Daisuke! Tampoco tuve que gastar mucho dinero para conseguir estos dos trajes que se pueden combinar entre sí, como se puede ver en la 3ª fotografía. Lo malo, es que tuve que comprar los muñecos que llevaban esta ropa ¬¬ Menos mal que eran bastante baratos. Me gustaría encontrar una caja con ropa para muñecos de 14-16cm en alguna juguetería, porque por mucho que busque, no encuentro nada T.T

Christmas time (Part 2)

As Daisuke and Aiko are kids, they enjoyed of the Tió. What is it? This is a traditional Christmas character in Catalonia. Something similar to Santa Claus. Tió is a log which has a face painted on and wears the traditional Catalonian hat, called barretina, on. On December 8th you have to cover the log with a blanket to warm him and giving him something to eat every night until December 24th. In Christmas day, the log will give you all the presents it has “crapped” (I know it sounds awful) while you sing a song hitting it with a stick. All its presents are always sweets and small things, so don’t ask him for a Playstation 3 or a Wii XD

Navidades (Parte 2)

Como Daisuke y Aiko son niños, disfrutaron del Tió. ¿Qué es eso? Es un personaje muy popular en Cataluña. Algo parecido a Papá Noel. Tió es un tronco que tiene una cara pintada y lleva el gorro típico catalán, la barretina. A partir del día 8 de Diciembre, se le tiene que tapar con una manta para que no pase frío y se le da de comer cada noche hasta el 24 de Diciembre, Nochebuena. El día de Navidad, el tronco dejará todos los regalos que haya “cagado” (ya sé que suena asqueroso) mientras se canta una canción dándole palos con un bastón. Los regalos que deja son siempre dulces y cosas pequeñas, así que no le pidáis que os deje una Playstation 3 o una Wii XD

Christmas time (Part 1)

Christmas... I’m not a Christmas lover, but I like taking photos of our dolls for this date because they look adorable. Last year I took a Christmas photo shot which you can see at my flickr. I know the photos are bad... The firsts steps are always difficult XD

This year we have three new members in our resin family! Enjoy them!

Navidades (Parte 1)

Navidades... La verdad es que no me gusta la navidad, pero me gusta hacer fotos de nuestros muñecos por estas fechas porque salen muy guapos. El año pasado les hice una sesión fotográfica Navideña que podéis ver en mi flickr. La verdad es que esas fotos son malas… todos los comienzos son siempre malos XD
