Adventurers Club - September "Water"

I'm a lost cause, always leave it to the last moment the "Adventurer's Club" challenge, but better late than never... The challenge for September is "Water", so I have picked Nelly (MH Honey Swamp) and I have taken a few photos. I think that I'll pick for the challenge the more experimental photo. 

No tengo remedio, siempre dejo para el último momento el reto del "Adventurers Club", pero como más vale tarde que nunca... El reto para el mes de Septiembre es "Water" (agua), así que he cogido a Nelly (MH Honey Swamp) y le he hecho unas fotos. Creo que elegiré para el reto la foto más experimental de todas.

Mint & Chocolate Summer · Verano con sabor a menta y chocolate

After so many "Monster High" dolls arrivals, finally I give a break and show you photos of my BJDs Danielle and Toshi that I took for a challenge on the Spanish forum "Café Articulado". The topic was "Summer", so I had an idea right away about what I wanted to do, but everything went wrong and photos thartoriginally were to be taken outside, had to be taken indoors, having to change everything that I had planned. At least I used an accessory that I customized for the shoot.

Después de tantas llegadas de muñecos "Monster High", por fin doy un respiro y os enseño unas fotos de mis BJDs Danielle y Toshi que hice para un reto del foro "Café Articulado". El tema era "Verano", así que enseguida tuve una idea sobre lo que quería hacer, aunque todo se me torció y las fotos que en un principio iban a ser en exterior, tuvieron que ser en interior, teniendo que cambiar todo lo que tenía pensado. Al menos sí pude utilizar un accesorio que customicé para la sesión.

Today I end with the arrival presentations of Monster High dolls. Finally! This time I have to show you a doll that cost me long to find... and to think that I could have had him from the last month... I tell you. When I purchased Catty Noir at Toys'R Us in Sant Boi, I saw they had Slo Mo, the zombie. I liked this doll in person, but due to the economic issue I couldn't buy it that day and to my great regret I had to miss the opportunity to purchase it since I haven't gone back to this store. Later, in early September the promotion with 25% off in Monster High products and dolls was done in El Corte Inglés, so I had to ask my friend Nadia (a.k.a. Sakura) if she could do the favor to purchase it for me because she lives very close to a El Corte Inglés mall and I couldn't go to the city just for this. Unfortunately, when she was able to go the doll was out, so I kept looking online until I finally came across deMartina.es online toy shop and found this. It's not too overpriced! Though I ordered in a moment that shipping was free from 10€, it was as if the doll was screaming at me: "buy me!" I ordered three outfits for our dolls because their price was nice and this way to take advantage of free shipping.

Shipping was very fast since I ordered on the 14th and the doll and clothes arrived on the 16th, just a day before the estimated date.

Hoy termino con las llegadas de muñecos Monster High. ¡Por fin! En esta ocasión os tengo que presentar a un muñeco que me costó mucho tiempo encontrar... y pensar que lo podría tener desde el mes pasado... Os cuento. Cuando compré a Catty Noir en el Toys'R Us de Sant Boi, vi que tenían a Slo Mo, el zombie. Me gustó mucho este muñeco en persona, pero por el tema económico no pude comprarlo ese día y muy a pesar mío tuve que dejar escapar la oportunidad de comprarlo ya que no he vuelto a ir a esta tienda. Después, a principios de septiembre se hizo la promoción en El Corte Inglés con el 25% de descuento en productos y muñecas Monster High, así que tuve que pedirle a mi amiga Nadia (a.k.a. Sakura) si podía hacerme el favor de comprarlo ya que vive muy cerca de un centro de El Corte Inglés y yo no podía desplazarme a la ciudad solo para esto. Desafortunadamente, cuando pudo ir ya estaba el muñeco agotado, así que continué buscando por Internet hasta que finalmente me topé con la tienda online deMartina.es y encontré esto. ¡Si alguien lo está buscando, que aproveche porque aún tienen unidades y no tiene el precio tan inflado! Aunque yo lo pillé en un momento en el que el envío era gratis a partir de 10€, fue como si el muñeco me estuviese gritando: "¡cómprame!" Ya que estaba y por aprovechar el envío gratuito, también pedí tres trajes para nuestras muñecas, ya que vi que estaban bien de precio.

El envío fue rapidísimo ya que hice el pedido el día 14 y el muñeco y la ropa llegaron el 16, justo un día antes de la fecha estimada.

Honey Swamp & Spectra Vondergeist Arrival · Llegada

Today I come with a double arrival, I decided to upload photos of both arrivals in a single post to finish with all the Monster High dolls arrival. Only one more is left.

As I said in the arrival of Bonita Femur, I was looking for a Spectra Vondergeist (ghost) and I didn't matter the model. I just wanted a cheap one because I have set limits to the price of these dolls. So back to rummaging through amazon.es, I managed to find Spectra, from the collection "Ghouls Spirit", for 17€ and as my mother wanted a Honey Swamp, daughter of the swamp monster, and as was at quite a good price, 20,25€, we ordered it to and we had just to pay 3€ for shipping, so the dolls didn't come out of our budget and thus ending the search of Monster High girls because there aren't so far more girls we like enough as to buy them.

These two girls arrived on the 13th of this month, though I could have had them on the 12th because we weren't home when the postman came and I had to go the next day to pick them up at the post office... one hour of waiting because there were many people.

Hoy vengo con una llegada doble, he decidido poner fotos de las dos llegadas en una sola entrada por terminar con el tema de las llegadas de los muñecos Monster High. Ya solo queda una más.

Como ya comenté en la llegada de Bonita Femur, estaba buscando una Spectra Vondergeist (fantasma) sin importarme el modelo. Solo quería una barata ya que me he puesto unos límites con el precio de estas muñecas. Así que volviendo a rebuscar en amazon.es logré encontrar a Spectra, de la coleccion "Ghouls Spirit", por 17€ y como mi madre quería a Honey Swamp, hija del monstruo del pantano, y como estaba bien de precio, 20,25€, pues la cogimos también y solo tuvimos que gastar 3€ más por gastos de envío, por lo que las muñecas no salieron de nuestro presupuesto y así poniendo fin a la búsqueda de chicas Monster High ya que hasta el momento no hay ninguna más que nos guste lo suficiente para tenerlas. 

Estas dos chicas llegaron el 13 de este mes, aunque podría haberlas tenido el día 12 porque no estábamos en casa cuando vino el cartero y tuve que ir al día siguiente a recogerlas en la oficina de Correos... una hora de espera por la de gente que había.

Jane Boolittle Arrival · Llegada

Another day of introductions, the good thing is that only two posts are left. This time it's the turn of Jane Boolittle. The character is the adopted daughter of Dr. Boolittle, a ghost. She's an unknown monster species, so by its appearance, she'll be a sorceress.

On Monday 7th I went to Barcelona with my mother to go to the Maritime Museum for an expo that we thought it was very interesting about Vikings. It's a civilization that fascinates me for many years and I couldn't miss this expo. So as we were going to Barcelona, I met my friend Nadia (a.k.a. Sakura) and so giving her Abbey and the accessories we won in an eBay auction. But rather is was a "doll exchange" because she gave my mother Jane Boolittle because the doll is hers (of course we paid her the doll).

It turns out that in El Corte Inglés (popular Spanish mall) there's a Monster High products promo with 25% off, so we were interested in taking advantage of it with the few dolls we wanted. They even had Slo Mo! But Nadia could only get Jane because the rest were out of stock or simply never had them. You may wonder why I didn't go personally to a El Corte Inglés mall. The answer is that I don't live in Barcelona city and don't have any mall like this near without having to take the public transport and it wasn't possible to make those trips for simple dolls, so I asked Nadia if she could do the favor because she lives in Barcelona and is fortunate to have a El Corte Inglés near her apartment.

Otro día más de presentaciones, lo bueno es que ya solo quedan dos entradas más. Esta vez le toca el turno a Jane Boolittle. El personaje es hija adoptiva del Dr. Boolittle, un fantasma. No se sabe qué tipo de monstruo es, así que por su apariencia, la dejaremos como hechicera.

El domingo 7 fui a Barcelona con mi madre para ir al museo marítimo porque había una exposición que nos parecía muy interesante sobre los vikingos. Es una civilización que me fascina desde hace muchos años y no me podía perder esa exposición. Así que ya que íbamos a ir a Barcelona, quedé también con mi amiga Nadia (a.k.a. Sakura) y así entregarle a Abbey y los accesorios que conseguimos por la subasta en eBay. Pero más bien fue un "intercambio de muñecas" porque ella le entregó a mi madre a Jane Boolittle, ya que la muñeca es suya (por supuesto que le pagamos la muñeca).

Resulta que en el Corte Inglés hay una promoción de productos Monster High con un 25% de descuento, por lo que nos interesaba aprovechar con los escasos muñecos que queríamos conseguir. ¡Incluso tenían a Slo Mo! Pero Nadia tan solo pudo conseguir a Jane porque el resto estaban agotados o simplemente no los tenían. Os preguntaréis porqué no fui personalmente a un centro de El Corte Inglés. La respuesta es que no vivo en Barcelona capital y no tengo ningún centro cerca sin tener que desplazarme en transporte público y no me venía bien hacer esos viajes por unos simples muñequitos, así que le pedí a Nadia si me podía hacer el favor, ya que ella vive en Barcelona y tiene la suerte de tener un Corte Inglés casi al lado de casa.
