October is over and with it, Halloween. It's no secret that it's my favorite holiday. How have you celebrated it? I thought about watching "The Nightmare Before Christmas", I haven't seen this movie in a long time, but I saw that the movie "Hereditary" was scheduled on television and since I hadn't seen it, I thought about watching it. The truth is that I found this movie quite boring and my suspicions from the beginning were true. Neither made me feel fear or anguish, but it did make me want to kill the girl every time she made a certain sound with her mouth since for me, it was a triggering sound (remember that I have misophonia), so I regretted not watching "The Nightmare Before Christmas".

Pues ya acabó octubre y con él, Halloween. No es ningún secreto de que es mi festividad favorita. ¿Cómo lo habéis celebrado? Pensé en ver "Pesadilla antes de Navidad", que hace mucho tiempo que no veo esta película, pero vi que estaba programada la película "Hereditary" en televisión y como no la había visto, pensé en verla. La verdad es que me aburrió bastante esta película y mis sospechas desde el principio eran ciertas. Tampoco me dio miedo ni angustia, pero sí me dieron ganas de matar a la niña cada vez que hacía cierto sonido con la boca ya que para mi, es un sonido detonante (recordad que tengo misofonía), así que me arrepentí de no ver "Pesadilla antes de Navidad".

I have already mentioned other years that in Catalonia we celebrate Castanyada instead of Halloween, although in the end both parties have merged and there are even neighborhoods in my town where the famous "trick or treat" has been made with costumed children and it's becoming known as "Castaween". Although I think it hasn't been done for two years because of the pandemic. I introduced to Ant-Man Castanyada and he got addicted to roasted chestnuts.

Ya os he contado otros años que en Cataluña celebramos la Castanyada en lugar de Halloween, aunque al final se han fusionado ambas fiestas y ya hasta hay barrios en mi ciudad donde se ha hecho el famoso "truco o trato" con los niños disfrazados y se está empezando a conocer como "Castaween". Aunque creo que lleva dos años sin hacerse por el tema de la pandemia. A Ant-Man le he presentado la Castanyada y se puso las botas comiendo castañas asadas.

In the middle of the month I found this box of Kit Kat in one of the supermarkets where I usually do my shopping. I couldn't resist buying the box with the Pennywise drawing and taking a photo with the nendo at home.
They had two more models, Chucky, the evil doll, and the Scream mask. I purchased them for my sister and my niece, who loved them.

I'm begining to like making these types of videos, although the part that I find boring is editing. I will do them whenever I remember because most of the time I forget and when I realize it, I have already started to pick up everything.

And we end with this funny photo. I also show Pyro Jack for Halloween. I wanted him to interact with another character and that's how Doremi came into the picture. The truth is that it was a lot of fun to take this photo and with it I participated in a Halloween collaboration on Instagram with other photographers, hosted by @legitbricks_. This last month I have not published as much as I would have liked, I'm still preparing an entry that is taking me a long time to finish. It's a lot of text and I have to pick the right photos. I hope to be able to finish it in the next few days, publish it and thus continue with the reviews of the figures that I have been incorporating into my collection.

Y terminamos con esta divertida foto. A Pyro Jack también lo muestro para Halloween. Me apeteció que interactuase con otro personaje y así es como Doremi entró en escena. La verdad es que fue muy divertido hacer esta foto y con ella participé en una colaboración en Instagram junto a otros fotógrafos, organizada por @legitbricks_. Hola Sion! Me encantan tus fotos, como siempre. Me encanta la de Jack de Pesadilla antes de Navidad. Hacer fotos con un fondo negro es complicado. Me he fijado que usas un espejo de tocador, supongo que para reflejar la luz o algo. Igual te copio el truco la próxima vez que use un fondo oscuro.
ResponderEliminarYo no celebro Halloween, pero ese fin de semana vi la película de "El retorno de las brujas" (Hocus Pocus). La vi de pequeña y llevaba tiempo queriendo volverla a ver. La puedes ver en Disney+, pero no se si estará en otra plataforma.

EliminarTienes razón, es difícil hacer fotos con un fondo negro. Y se complica si la figura tiene partes tan blancas. Es todo saber dominar la iluminación y como la cámara la uso en manual es cuestión de aprender cómo configurarla. Y sí, el espejo lo uso para reflejar la luz, aunque lo uso en todas mis fotografías, incluidas las más luminosas. Por si te sirve de ayuda, también uso cartulinas blancas o cartones plateados y dorados dependiendo de la calidez que le quiera dar a la fotografía.
Hace años que no veo "El retorno de las brujas". No tengo Disney+ pero igual consigo verla de alguna manera.

Great photos! I didn't take any Halloween photos this year, I'm just not in to it right now. I really like yours though, especially Jack Skellington & Zero, I love "The Nightmare Before Christmas"! Actually there's not any of Tim Burton's movies that I don't like.
