Christmas holidays are over and we're almost in the middle of the month. Since I don't want more topics and posts to accumulate, I'm going to publish the most urgent ones as soon as possible and this is one of those posts.

While listening to the new album by VV (Ville Valo, ex-HIM singer), which has been released today, I'm going to show you the figures that joined my collection in 2022. Before I used to post a photo (or several photos) of my updated collection of Nendoroids, but since I already have so many big heads and almost all of them are stored in their boxes, it's a too tedious job and I thought it's more interesting to introduce the new members of my figure collection. 

Let's start with the Marvel Legends..

Ya pasaron las fiestas navideñas, estando ya a casi mediados de mes. Como no quiero que se me acumulen más temas y entradas, voy a ir publicando las más urgentes lo antes posible y esta es una de esas entradas. 

Mientras escucho el nuevo disco de VV (Ville Valo, ex-cantante de HIM), que ha salido hoy, os voy a mostrar las figuras que se unieron a mi colección en 2022. Antes solía publicar una foto (o varias fotos) de mi colección actualizada de Nendoroids, pero como ya tengo tantos cabezones y casi todos están guardados en sus cajas, es un trabajo demasiado tedioso y he pensado que es más interesante presentar a las nuevas integrantes de mi colección de figuras. 

Empecemos con las Marvel Legends.

I already commented in another entry that I decided to give the Marvel Legends (Hasbro) action figures a try because the Japanese figures have prices that are bordering on prohibitive. My first Marvel Legends was the Winter Soldier figure and I thought it was such a good choice that I decided to add Ravager Thor, Thor and Mighty Thor to my Marvel collection. They won't have as many accessories as the Japanese figures, but they are more affordable and not bad at all.

I was left wanting to buy the rest of the characters in the Thor: Love and Thunder collection. It is impossible to buy everything we like.

Ya comenté en otra entrada que decidí darles una oportunidad a las figuras de acción Marvel Legends (Hasbro) porque las figuras japonesas tienen unos precios rozando lo prohibitivo. Mi primera Marvel Legends fue la figura del Soldado de Invierno y me pareció tan buena opción que decidí añadir a mi colección de Marvel a Ravager Thor, Thor y Mighty Thor. No tendrán tantos accesorios como las figuras japonesas, pero tienen un precio más asequible y no están nada mal.

Me quedé con las ganas de comprar al resto de personajes de la colección de Thor: Love and Thunder. Es imposible comprar todo lo que nos gusta.

2022 was the year of Funko POP! My first Funko was Majin Vegeta's, which my friend Nisame gave me for my birthday and months later the rest arrived. I didn't plan to have so many Funkos in my collection and I honestly, don't regret having them in my collection. Aesthetically they are beautiful and they aren't as shabby as they say out there. Although I must admit that Funkos that attract most my attention of animals and other creatures, I see humans quite similar to each other if they do not have very identifying characteristics.

2022 fue año de Funko POP! Mi primer Funko fue el de Majin Vegeta, que me lo regaló mi amiga Nisame por mi cumpleaños y meses después llegaron el resto. No tenía planeado tener tantos Funkos en mi colección y sinceramente, no me arrepiento de tenerlos en mi colección. Estéticamente son bonitos y no son tan cutres como dicen por ahí. Aunque debo admitir que me llaman más la atención los Funko de animales y otras criaturas, los humanos los veo bastante parecidos entre ellos si no tienen características muy identificativas.

And we end with the Nendoroids. Surprisingly I have only added three big headed in 2022. Actually they came in two boxes since the Bucky figures come in the same box as it's a DX version. You already know that I am a big fan of Bucky, so it was mandatory to have the "classic" version of him and with short hair. I ordered these figures in 2021, but the store where I bought them, Nin-Nin Game, had many delays and they sent it to me later.

And what can I tell you about Edward, you just have to see the adorable little face he has. I really like the movie, I've seen it like 50 times without exaggerating and his outfit is so gothic that it had to be in my collection 🖤 Although I'm going to tell you something. I was about to not order it because he's a figure that cannot be bought in Europe, so I had to buy it in a Japanese store. For these cases I buy the figures in Nin-Nin Game since you have the option of paying import taxes and they send you the orders from an address in Luxembourg, thus avoiding headaches with ADT Postales. The problem? That sometimes the import fees are quite high and the price of the figure, in this case, is much higher than in other Nendoroids. I don't know the reasons, I don't know if it will be because it belongs to a western franchise, because of the complexity of the character or a mixture of everything. The fact is that between some things and others, it has become the most expensive Nendoroid in my collection. You don't know how hard it was to hit the "buy" button. It's true that when I received it I was happy to have it, but I still have the trauma of having paid so much money for such a small figure 😩

I currently don't have figures in pre-order, although there are four Nendoroids that I should buy because they are mandatory.

By the way, I really liked VV's solo album, if you like HIM, listen to it.

Y terminamos con las Nendoroid. Sorprendentemente tan solo he añadido tres cabezones en 2022. En realidad son dos ya que las figuras de Bucky vienen en la misma caja al ser una versión DX. Ya sabéis que soy muy fan de Bucky, así que era obligatorio tener su versión "clásica" y con el pelo corto. Estas figuras las pedí en 2021, pero la tienda donde las compré, Nin-Nin Game, tuvo muchos atrasos y me la enviaron más tarde. 

Y qué os puedo decir de Eduardo, sólo hay que ver la carita tan adorable que tiene. Me gusta mucho la película, la habré visto como 50 veces sin exagerar y su atuendo es tan gótico que tenía que estar en mi colección 🖤 Aunque os voy a contar una cosa. Estuve a punto de no pedirlo porque es una figura que no se puede comprar en Europa, así que lo tuve que comprar en una tienda japonesa. Para estos casos compro las figuras en Nin-Nin Game ya que tiene la opción de pagar las tasas de importación y te envían los pedidos desde una dirección de Luxemburgo, así evitas quebraderos de cabeza con ADT Postales. ¿El problema? Que a veces las tasas de importación son bastante elevadas y el precio de la figura, en este caso, es bastante más elevado que en otras Nendoroids. Desconozco los motivos, no sé si será por pertenecer a una franquicia occidental, por la complejidad del personaje o una mezcla de todo. El caso es que entre unas cosas y otras, se ha convertido en la Nendoroid más cara de mi colección. No sabéis lo que me costó darle al botón de "comprar". Es cierto que cuando lo recibí me alegré de tenerlo, pero sigo teniendo el trauma de haber pagado tanto dinero en una figura tan pequeña 😩

Por cierto, me ha gustado mucho el disco en solitario de VV, si os gusta HIM, escuchadlo.
