This blog needs some changes // Este blog necesita algunos cambios

Long time ago arrived Danielle's body, completing the doll, last Christmas arrived the foxes Sam and Dean, my sister moved, taking Aiko with her, and recently arrived Shun, Danielle's brother, and the twins Hiroki and Akane, completing our resin family. This means that the blog needs several changes and as you see, I have changed its design. I like how it looks now, it's simple, clean, elegant and more in keeping with the theme of my dolls. Also I have to update the profiles pics, I need a new banner...

For this to not be so empty, I add a screenshot of how it was before this blog. It was nice, but it was more "femenine" and in home what they abound are boys xD And tell me if you liked the change ;)

Hace tiempo que llegó el cuerpo de Danielle, teniendo así la muñeca completa, las pasadas Navidades llegaron los zorritos Sam y Dean, mi hermana se mudó, llevándose a Aiko y recientemente llegaron Shun, el hermano de Danielle y los mellizos Hiroki y Akane, completando así nuestra familia resinil. Esto significa que el blog necesita varios cambios y como veis, le he cambiado por completo el diseño. Me gusta cómo ha quedado, lo encuentro sencillo, limpio, elegante y más acorde a la temática de mis muñecos. También tengo que actualizar las fotos de las fichas, necesito un banner nuevo...

Para que esto no quede tan pobre, pongo una captura de cómo era antes el blog. Era bonito, pero era más "femenino" y en casa lo que abundan son los chicos xD Ya me diréis si os ha gustado el cambio ;)

28/07/2013 - Doll meetup at Labyrinth Park / Quedada en el Parque del Laberinto

Last Sunday I went to my first doll meetup with Nadia_Chaudhary and Chandrama. It took place in the Labyrinth Park in Barcelona, park I had never been and I should be ashamed. The place is very beautiful and paceful, although we didn't see it all.

The meetup itself was fine, although I have to admit that I didn't interacted as much as I should have to because it's hard for me to start a conversation and neither I'm a talkative person, so it was a big effort on my part to encourage me to go to the meetup xD Will I go more times? Yes, as I get to know people better, I'll open myself more... or I hope so xD

It also happened a funny story, although it was to be afraid because it could have ended worse. We were Nadia, Chandrama, the other ones and me sat when suddendly we heard screams. It happened that the top part of a girl's doll head and wig fell from a considerable heigth. I don't know who she was and I'm sorry if she reads this. Even luck that were those parts that fell and not the entire doll. As human mind is as curious, some of us went to see what happened and saw the wig got caught in the bushes to enough weigth and a single person would be unable to take it. Finally two girls managed to rescue the poor wig and everything was in an anecdote.

And finally the time for the photos has came! Notice that there are many and this will be quite long.

El domingo fui a mi primera quedada junto con Nadia_Chaudhary y Chandrama. Tuvo lugar en el Parque del Laberinto de Barcelona, parque al que nunca había ido y vergüenza debería de darme. El sitio es precioso y tranquilo, aunque no lo recorrimos todo.

La quedada en sí estuvo bien, aunque tengo que reconocer que tampoco me relacioné mucho porque me cuesta bastante empezar una conversación y tampoco soy una persona habladora, así que ya fue un esfuerzo por mi parte el animarme a ir a la quedada xD ¿Iré más veces? Sí, ya que según vaya conociendo mejor a la gente, iré abriéndome más... o eso espero xD

También ocurrió una anécdota graciosa, aunque fue para asustarse porque podría haber acabado la cosa peor. Estábamos Nadia, Chandrama, las demás y yo sentadas cuando de repente se oyen unos gritos. Resultó que a una chica, no sé quién sería y lo siento por si lee esto, se le cayó la tapa de la cabeza de su muñeca junto con la peluca desde una altura considerable. Aún suerte que fueron estas partes las que se cayeron y no la muñeca entera. Como la mente humana es tan curiosa, muchas salimos a mirar a ver qué había ocurrido y vimos que la peluca se quedó atrapada entre unos arbustos a bastante altura y una persona sola sería incapaz de cogerla. Finalmente dos chicas consiguieron rescatar a la pobre peluca y todo quedó en una anécdota.

Y por fin llegamos a las fotos. Aviso de que son muchísimas y me va a quedar esto muy largo.

I love these little dragons! I was very happy to see one of them in person. But don't panic because I'm not going to buy one though is one of my fave molds.

¡Estos dragoncitos me encantan! Me hizo mucha ilusión ver uno en persona. Pero que no cunda el pánico porque no me voy a comprar uno por mucho que sea uno de mis moldes favoritos.

Es más grande de lo que esperaba...

I took photos in the park as well, so I couldn't end this entry without photos of the park. I didn't took many, but I promise to take more the next time I'll go and show them around here.

También hice algunas fotos al parque, así que no podía terminar la entrada sin las fotos del parque. No son muchas, pero para otro día que vaya prometo hacer más fotos y enseñarlas por aquí.

I hope you likee the photos. I still have to learn how to use the camera correctly, many photos were dark and still thank I have saved them with Photoshop. Others have gone as well that it hasn't been necessary to edit them ^_^

Espero que os haya gustado las fotos. Aún tengo que aprender a manejar bien la cámara, muchas fotos salieron oscuras y aún gracias que las he podido salvar con el Photoshop. Otras han salido tan bien que no ha hecho faltar retocarlas ^_^

Face-up 10 / Maquillaje 10

Hi!

Last Tuesday I caught Hiroki and made a new face-up for him. It turns out that tomorrow I'm going to a doll meetup and I'm going to take him, but I didn't like how his eyelashes turned out when I made his face-up last month and I didn't like the idea to take him like that. So I tried to erase his eyelashes only and ended up erasing the whole face-up because it looked dirty.

To make the new face-up took me the whole day! Citadel, the spray varnish I use to fix the face-up, hasn't dried well due to the high temperature, but even so the face-up is moderately well and thus, Hiroki is ready to go to the meetup.

As usual, drawing eyelashes has been a nightmare, but I've managed to draw them natural with the thin brush! I had to redo them many times but the most important is that finally they look much better than last time, they were a glob.

I know that eyebrows aren't very symmetrical. You also have to think that no one really has their eyebrows symmetrical and identical, so it's a "natural fault".

¡Buenas!

El jueves cogí a Hiroki y lo volví a maquillar. Resulta que el domingo voy a ir a una quedada y me lo voy a llevar a él, pero no me gustaba nada cómo me quedaron las pestañas cuando lo maquillé el mes pasado y no me hacía gracia la idea de llevarlo de esa manera. Así que intenté borrarle solo las pestañas y terminé borrándole el maquillaje por completo porque se veía el pegote del borrón.

¡Maquillarlo me costó todo el día! El Citadel no ha quedado bien del todo por las altas temperaturas, pero aún así, el maquillaje ha quedado medianamente bien y por lo tanto, Hiroki está presentable para ir a la quedada.

Como siempre, las pestañas han sido una pesadilla, ¡pero por fin he conseguido hacerlas naturales y con el pincel fino! Tuve que rehacerlas muchas veces aunque lo importante es que finalmente han quedado muchísimo mejor que la vez anterior, que eran un pegote.

Sé que las cejas no han quedado muy simétricas. También hay que pensar que en realidad, nadie tiene las cejas simétricas ni idénticas, así que es un "fallo natural".

Hiroki está contento de tener por fin unas pestañas en condiciones ^__^
