I'm up up for a monthly challenge. ♫♥ CaroL ♥♫ invited me to participate in a group where each month a challenge is proposed to do with your dolls, publish it and share the hobby on blogs, which lately are in the doldrums and it's a pity.
They have been running the game since 2016, so I'm very late, although it doesn't matter because it's not obligatory to do all the challenges and you can publish the back challenges when you want. The ideal is to publish the challenges on the last Monday of the month, so as recently I've been invited, this time I publish it a few days late.
Although I don't think I can do it every month, it's a good proposal to pay more attention to my BJD, you know that I have not posted photos of them for months.
I have created a label to have all the posts together, called "Blog Hop". The challenge is in Spanish, but as my blog is bilingual I'll do it in both languages.

Doll challenge #35 "What you keep in the closet"
What I keep is an authentic chaos. Behind my clothes, I have the boxes of the Nendoroid figures stored. Of this I will not show photos because the boxes are hidden. In the other part of the closet I have a couple of boxes with things I barely use of BJD, like eyes, Hiroki's fists, the other pair of hands of Akane or Danielle's high heel feet. There are also boxes of Ikea doll furniture, the box of one of my cameras...

Me he apuntado a un reto mensual. ♫♥ CaroL ♥♫ me invitó a participar en un grupo en el que cada mes se propone un reto para hacer con las muñecas, publicarlo y así compartir el hobby por lo blogs, que últimamente apenas tienen vida y es una pena.

In the pink box I have stored the chicks and bunnies that I use in the photos of figures for Easter.
I have stored the DVD movies that you see in the photo with the rest of the movies, on the television table, after taking the photo. I don't even know why those DVDs were in the closet 😓

En la caja rosa tengo guardados los pollitos y conejitos que uso en las fotos de figuras para Pascua.
Las películas en DVD que se ven en la foto las guardé junto con el resto de películas, en la mesa de la televisión, después de hacer la foto. No sé ni qué hacían esos DVD's en el armario 😓

Here you can see the colour difference between Akane and Hiroki and Danielle. Akane and Hiroki are pretty white, not pink pig, as I expected them to be.

Aquí podéis ver la diferencia de color entre Akane y Hiroki y Danielle. Akane y Hiroki son bastante blanquitos, no rosa cerdito, como esperaba que fuesen.
La ropa, pelucas, zapatos y accesorios de las BJDs los tengo guardados en cajas, amontonadas en un rincón de mi cuarto, que ya empieza a tener aspecto de síndrome de Diógenes, así que quiero empezar a deshacerme de cosas (véase revistas y mil porquerías que no sé ni porqué guardo).

My big dilemma is what to do with the boxes of the figures since they take up a lot of space and I store their accessories in boxes with compartments to have everything at hand.

Mi gran dilema es qué hacer con las cajas de las figuras ya que ocupan muchísimo espacio y los accesorios los guardo en cajas con compartimentos para tenerlo todo a mano.

Ostras, veo que no soy la única que guarda todas las cajas. Yo ya no sé si es obsesividad o síndrome de Diógenes...

ResponderEliminarSo pleased to see I am not the only one who has hoards of boxes. :) Though I must admit that I am thinking of ditching some of them real soon. I guess most of us keep the boxes in case of shipping a doll or two on to new homes, though in all these years I have been collecting I have sold very few of those I own. Most of mine (well the ones that have spare parts in them) are either in my doll room or on the very top shelves of my bookcases, though there are a few totally empty boxes also on the very top shelf of my closet and they are probably the ones I need to discard.
I guess both of us will eventually have a good clean up!

EliminarI'm afraid almost all collectors keep the boxes 😂 I keep them because if I ever move I can have my figures saved in their original boxes, but on the other part I could use bubble paper and the boxes with compartiments. At least I would have to decide to through away the the blisters, keep the boxes bended and this way have more spare room.

Bienvenida al reto!! Yo aún no lo he podido hacer TT^TT y también entré hace poco así que no estoy al día.
ResponderEliminarYo guardo las cajas de los nendos por ejemplo porque no tengo dónde ponerlos por ahora (igual con alguna figura de las que tengo más grandes) pero cuando tengan su lugar sé que las acabaré por tirar porque ocupan mucho espacio tontamente. Y las de las BJD... creo que solo tengo dos o tres, las uso para meter todo lo que tengo "extra", vease por ejemplo masilla, herramienta para tensar, algunas cosas que tengo a la venta, las cabezas rodantes... pero no por motivos sentimentales. Apenas tengo sitio así, imagina con TODAS las cajas en casa xD

EliminarEl tema de las cajas en el fondo es una tontería, pero no sé porqué, me da cosa tirarlas porque me da la sensación que forman parte de la figura. Es genial que tú no tengas ese sentimiento de "culpa" por tirar las cajas XD
