After several months of hiatus, I can finally write on the blog more often. At this time, in July I got the vaccine against Covid 19. I have gotten both doses and I encourage you to also get vaccinated. I had hardly any side effects, with the first dose I had a sore arm in the area of the shot and with the second the pain was milder, although I did have a little fatigue that lasted 24 hours.
A few weeks ago I told you about the problem I had with my laptop, which is still damaged and which I have been using on a few occasions. I finally opted to buy a refurbished laptop, as I don't know how much the repair will cost and how long the old computer will last and adding a little bit money I could get a practicaly new computer. After searching for a few weeks, I finally found a good deal on July 20. I already have the most essential programs installed, including Photoshop CS5 for editing photos.
What will I do with the old laptop? I will keep it and when I'll be able, I'll ask if it can be repaired and depending on what they tell me, I will pay for the repair or not. I would like it to be fixed, it's always a good thing to have a couple of computers in case one fails or one of them needs to be cleaned inside.
During these months I have taken photos with my phone (especially from March) and have edited them with apps, Lightroom Mobile and Snapseed. Honestly, I prefer to do the edits with a computer, it's much more comfortable, although I have to admit that these two apps are good if you want to edit the photos you take with your phone.
Now I am going to the topic you are waiting for, new photos. I have a lot of unpublished photos on the blog, so I will continue with the "Random Photos" section until it's fully updated.

Después de varios meses de parón, por fin puedo volver a escribir en el blog con más frecuencia. En este tiempo, en julio me vacuné contra la Covid 19. Tengo las dos dosis puestas y os animo a que también os vacunéis. No tuve apenas efectos secundarios, con la primera dosis tuve un poco de dolor en la zona del pinchazo y con la segunda el dolor fue más leve, aunque sí tuve un poco de fatiga que duró 24h.

¿Qué haré con el portátil viejo? Lo voy a guardar y cuando pueda, iré a preguntar si se puede reparar y dependiendo de lo que me digan, pagaré la reparación o no. Me gustaría que tuviese arreglo, no viene mal tener un par de ordenadores por si uno falla o tienes que llevarlo a que lo limpien por dentro.

El 27 de febrero fue el día de Pokémon, celebrando su 25º aniversario. Nunca he jugado a los juegos y he visto pocos episodios del anime, aún así me parecen preciosas estas criaturas.

ResponderEliminarI am pleased you are back posting your lovely photos again. My favourites are Link and his horse, that bridge is a fab prop too! It's a real bummer when computers bite the dust, and I think you are wise to get your old one repaired if it's not too expensive.
I am also glad you have had both your jabs, it must be quite a relief for you, to feel that little bit safer now. I have had both mine too!

At least I've solved that problem with my computer, let's see what happens with the old one in the future. I really hope it's not too expensive to get it repaired.
Nice to know that you have got vaccinated as well. I don't really feel as safe, people keeps getting infected even with their two doses, in Spain it's really bad.

Hola Sion! Acabo de ver tu comentario en mi blog y he visto que publicaste hace unos días. He agregado tu blog a la barra lateral del mío, así puedo ver cuando publicas (la lista de lectura de Blogger es un desastre). Me alegra saber que has solucionado lo del portátil y que podrás publicar más a menudo. Es buena idea tener un ordenador de reserva, por si acaso.
ResponderEliminarAh, Blaine! Me encantaba la línea Generation Girls de Barbie, aún tengo a Nichelle y Lara/Marie de la segunda línea. Me gustan todas tus fotos en general, pero especialmente las de Link en el puente.
Me alegro que no tuvieses muchos efectos secundarios. Mi segunda dosis no será hasta finales de agosto, así que aún me quedan un par de semanas. También me da miedo contagiarme, sobre todo con la cantidad de gente que ha venido de vacaciones y va por ahí sin mascarilla. La verdad es que creía que, con la vacuna, me sentiría más segura, pero no.

EliminarSí, por fin pude solucionar lo del portátil. Pensándolo bien, ha sido la mejor opción y así cuando lleve a arreglar el otro (si tiene solución y no es muy caro) no me quedo sin ordenador durante esos días.
Blaine es el único muñeco que tengo de esa línea, de echo, es el único muñeco "Barbie" que tengo. Me alegro de que te hayan gustado las fotos de Link en el puente, tenía muchas ganas de hacer esas fotos.
Tuve suerte con la vacuna, incluso pude conseguir cita en mi ambulatorio y no tuve que trasladare a un vacunódromo, como mis padres y mi hermana. Espero que con la segunda dosis te vaya bien. Y te entiendo perfectamente, a pesar de tener las dos dosis, no tengo la seguridad que pensaba que tendría ya que incluso se están contagiando personas vacunadas. Lo de la irresponsabilidad de muchas personas es tremenda, no han aprendido nada en todo este tiempo y la pandemia aún va para largo, visto lo visto (* ￣︿￣)
