When last week I visited my grandmother in the nursing home where she currently lives, I took two of my Monster High dolls to take photos in the huge backyard of the nursing home. Below I show you photos of the chosen ones, the couple formed by Ophion (Deuce Gorgon) and Venus (Venus McFlytrap).

Cuando fui la semana pasada a visitar a mi abuela en la residencia donde actualmente vive, me llevé a dos de mis muñecos Monster High para hacer fotos en el enorme patio que tiene la residencia. A continuación os muestro fotos de los elegidos, la parejita formada por Ophion (Deuce Gorgon) y Venus (Venus McFlytrap).

Today makes five years since I started my journey through the blogger world. Actually the blog was born a few days earlier, that I spent them writing some posts and creating pages that today are still active, but it was a 10th September when I opened the blog publicly. This blog you are reading it was opened as a diary to have my adventures into the hobby of BJDs in an orderly way and that way, my friends could enjoy it. Five years later, here you have me willing to keep writing on the blog even though in the recent months I have little time to spend here.

Hoy hace cinco años que empecé mi andadura por el mundo blogueril. En realidad el blog lo empecé unos días antes, que los pasé escribiendo algunas entradas y creando páginas que a día de hoy aún están activas, pero fue un 10 de septiembre cuando lo abrí públicamente. Éste blog que estáis leyendo lo abrí a modo de diario para tener mis aventuras dentro del hobby de las BJD de una forma ordenada y de paso, que lo pudiesen disfrutar mis amigos. Cinco años después, aquí me tenéis con ganas de seguir con el blog a pesar de que en los últimos meses no tengo mucho tiempo para dedicarle.

Maiko 6th Anniversary · 6º aniversario de Maiko

On the 4th of this month Maiko turned 6 years old. It seems it was yesterday when she arrived, with the nerves of our first doll arrival, first impressions of seeing, catching and touching a SD size BJD, because yes, we started like crazy with a 60cm doll. You can see her arrival here.

As usual, I have taken a couple photos as a celebration for these six years.

El día 4 de este mes Maiko cumplió 6 añitos. Parece que fue ayer cuando llegó, con los nervios de nuestra primera llegada, las primeras impresiones de ver, coger y tocar una BJD tamaño SD, porque sí, empezamos a lo bestia con una muñeca de 60cm. Podéis ver su llegada aquí.

Como de costumbre, he hecho un par de fotos a modo de celebración por estos seis años.

Casta Fierce Arrival · Llegada

Finally I get to publish this post. It was saved in the Blogger draft for a long time and I've been writing when I had a little free time, it's been really hard to find time to photograph my dolls (I think the last time I took photos was earlier July) and blogging in the last months. Things of everyday life.

That said, I tell you. Finally I have a new monster even though I no longer have room for more dolls! Although I have the doll for some months and is at home with her friends.

On Friday 8th May, my mother and I went to shopping because we had a wedding on the 29th of that month and we needed to buy clothes and shoes for that day, so as we didn't find anything we liked in our town, finally we went to Barcelona. To keep the habit and as we were in the area, we went to El Corte Ingles to look around in the area of toys (we don't like the clothes that are sold there and is quite expensive) and what was our surprise to find the Monster High Casta Fierce doll, daughter of Circe, the goddess-witch from Greek Mythology, for 9,99€. Seriously, could not believe it and was the only box that was left, so as I saw it, I took it and didn't let it go. I noticed that the doll was stained on her forehead, but I didn't care.

Al final consigo publicar esta entrada. Llevaba bastante tiempo guardado en el borrador de Blogger y la iba escribiendo cuando tenía un poco de tiempo, que últimamente estoy que me las veo y las deseo para encontrar tiempo para fotografiar mis muñecas (creo que la última vez que pude hacer fotos fue a principios de Julio) y escribir en el blog. Cosas de la vida diaria.

Dicho esto, os cuento. ¡Al final ha caído otra monstruita más a pesar de que ya no tengo espacio para más muñecas! Aunque la muñeca ya lleva unos meses en casa con sus amig@s.

El viernes 8 de Mayo mi madre y yo salimos de compras porque teníamos una boda para el día 29 del mismo mes y necesitábamos comprar ropa y zapatos para ese día, así que como no encontrábamos nada que nos gustase en nuestro pueblo, finalmente terminamos en Barcelona. Para no perder la costumbre y ya que estábamos por la zona, fuimos a El Corte Inglés para curiosear en la zona de juguetes (la ropa que venden allí nos parece horrorosa y bastante cara) y cuál fue nuestra sorpresa encontrar la muñeca Monster High Casta Fierce, hija de Circe, diosa-hechicera de la mitología griega, a 9,99€. En serio, estábamos que no nos lo creíamos y era la única caja que quedaba, así que tal y como la vi, la cogí y no la solté. Me fijé que la muñeca tenía la frente manchada, pero me daba igual.
